Really I thought they said they would never make a TES MMO.
So far it's just a rumour but I really wouldn't be surprised. Their worlds always made me feel like the online aspect was. . . . well, not lacking from them, but rather could be there.

FF needs to bring back its spark in its offline games, FFXIII and XIII-2 were utterly crap compared to the older ones such as FFVII, FFIX, FFX which used open-worlds with cities, shops tons of areas and complete freedom most of the time to go and do as you please, these latest ones (FFXIII) even restrict your ability to lvl up how and when you want to because you have to complete parts of the game to progress more.
This. I only saw basic things like alt-tab not working in JP games so far, prominent examples being... ffxiv and psu, with both SE and SEGA being large companies one expects a certain level of professionalism from...
The interesting thing is, doujin (indie?) games don't suffer from those bugs, maybe because the people there still do it for the sake of making a good game instead of being rushed to earn money.
I'm amazed that people tend to avoid FFXII when talking about the series.
That game had a god damned WORLD. And the battle system was amazing~
