Seriously, it's like the DPS players never played any MMO ever. If you haven't, well, welcome to a classic MMO experience. Healing and tanking are very responsible jobs, and not everyone wants to do them (in fact, a very small number of people want to do them).

The thing is I am a tank main, I didn't need any msq experience to level my tank at all and its already level 70 Im very aware thiis is an mmo, but the fact that doing things solo I can level a tank to 70 faster than leveling a dps two levels is stupid. If I wanted I could level all tanks and heals faster than one dps thats how bad it is right now. So I just dont think thats acceptable that you make leveling so effortless for two roles and make leveling a dps like a physics test to me that's just bad design. If dps is the preference then give dps easier ways to level than the other two roles.

We have nine dps the way it looks it will take several months to level them all where as you could level every tank in one week how do you not see a problem with this regardless of whats the norm in mmos. To level my pali it took a week of challenge logs, and roulletes a bit of pvp to get to 70 in that time span I may have gone up one level or two on my dps after hitting 60.

While that is true, a lot of us are burned out on fates, since ARR and HW but specially ARR made us run these millions of times, before SE made adjustments. And while I do agree there's a lot to do, if you sit half the day or 5 - 6 hours total in queue's before even getting into these dungeons, and then the dungeon run itself is not being done within 4 minutes obviously, that sometimes can lead to you having to skip your dailies, and this being a primary exp reward is not that great. Sure can always pvp or potd but you really want to do that for all your jobs? I don't lol,

To be honest, the only FATEs I've done in SB so far are ones that are linked to the Foxy Lady or Ixion FATEs. And even then, they were on a level 70 class most of the time. I've only leveled 2 classes to 70 so far(DRG and RDM), so the roulette queues are something I'm VERY familiar with. This past weekend the queue times we actually not too bad, aside from the EX rou(45min, where the rest were 20-30min as apposed to the hour long for EACH of them individually), which could be attested to the long weekend and people going camping/anywhere but inside.

If you have to wait in a long queue for a dungeon to progress the story(I can't tell if you're whining about dungeons in the story or exp grind), why not take the time to do some of the many side quests in SB? Or work on getting all your aether currents? Or do fates while you wait, or level a gathering job while you wait(which is a great way to make gil at 70 right now, fyi)?

Ive offered gil for a dungeon run almost daily and half the time that doesn't even work. All Im saying is at the very least they could of released the new potd or some other new form of content to allow people to level dps that may not have a buddy that will run stuff with them all day long. Instead they did things the lazy way and just boasted content that already existed , content that is literally the most repetitive content ive done outside of spamming a1s for relic. I mean adding new zones or something to spice up pvp would of been nice but yet you get the fields of glory over and over and over and over and over again so much fun right.

Also I might add that you don't have all ur skills in pvp any longer either so you arent learning a rotation or how to play your job effectively in a pvp environment, also accepting losing is also something thats not fun to me. If Im playing a game I want to win, pvp is the only form of content that you are suppose to be comfortable with losing just because it gives exp, you know what people do when they lose other content, rage quit, get angry, etc. Oh in pvp o well I lost at least I got some exp thats just a horrible concept to me , but I dont like to lose and the fact you have to accept not winning just to get exp is an awful concept to me. The fact is everyone was hype for this expansion and playing dps the majority of your time is gona be spent in pvp so was that really worth gettin hype over to me that would be a no in the process it killed pvp, and kill excitement. And with this nerf they just made instead of improving things and giving other forms of content more exp they just made it even worse on dps players like tell me who does this benefit.

While I mostly agree, a bigger issue than two new DPS jobs is the nerf to tanks and healers-- specifically Warrior and Scholar. Both jobs underwent fundamental changes and now promote a playstyle much different than what drew people to those respective jobs. Dark Knight suffers similarly, albeit less so once you reach 70 while White Mage and Astro haven't changed much at all and Paladin got buffed into the moon. This inevitably pushed a lot of current tanks and Scholars to DPS. Frankly, they really need to rethink some of their changes. Say whatever you fancy about tanks supposed to be tanking and healers focusing more on healers. If people prefer the more hybrid style, forcing them to do something else will only make them drop the job entirely. Considering we need more tanks and healers, they should probably focus on whatever makes them fun. Very few Warriors are having fun right now.

Question : Why the hell would you run every roulettes every day as a DPS while still on the MSQ? I mean, 50/60 and MSQ (god forbid me) roulettes are poor xp. You'd go much faster just doing MSQ/side quests and only queuing for trials/dungeons needed for the MSQ. Talk about time wasted.

Furthermore, I know people don't like to take the initiative, but please use the Party Finder. I've leveled my RDM from 60 to 70 simply by creating PF groups for spamming the highest level dungeon I had available. Whenever I created these PF, I always had either a tank or a healer join (plus a second DPS) in 15-20 minutes max so I had no queue to run these dungeons.

50/60 yeah, but not MSQ that one is nice XP (if your team rush it).

It's just the most boring roulette ever and for the time invested you'd get more xp just doing the MSQ.

Actually, I was getting 1-1.5m EXP running this, and the run itself is rather quick considering almost everyone is way over geared for it. It never took longer than a regular dungeon run. The only roulette I found to be crap for EXP was the guildhest one, but EXP is EXP, and it doesn't take long to finish those(even the challenge log was less than 400k EXP for guildhests at 68)
