Yes there are always more new players. But you do realize that the Savage raiding scene represents, at most, 1-2% of the entire FFXIV community? The people who\\'ve been here and haven\\'t done hard content yet, do so by CHOICE. They see no reason to follow the grind of the gear treadmill.
So even if, yes, new players are joining, the majority of them won\\'t touch Savage. Not because it\\'s disinteresting or outdated, but because they just don\\'t want to do it. Raiding requires time, dedication, and team coordination, something that the "casual" crowd of FFXIV usually don\\'t have. I know plenty of people who only craft, or only log in for dailies and see raiding as pointless or too stressful.
