The Great Gubal Library has a book on Lady Amandine which is chonrologicly wrong?

I assume Mindflayer is slighly more likely, yes, lol. It did says squid-like and not octopus-like, after all.

More importantly, how did this diary of a guy's bungled sex adventure find its way into the forbidden section of a library?

Perhaps he was one of the librarians who, overcome with the Tales of High Succubi and seeing Lady Amandine, went mad trying to capture beauty like hers and the rest is in-game history. I also think Mindflayer is more likely but...A guy trying to summon a Succubus for icky-stuff and ending up with ULTROS is too hilarious to pass up lol

It's so wrong in so many levels that is why its on the forbidden section; I bet the book was later called 50 shades of ultros.

All in all I think we need to call Ash he's good with handling stuff like this. I mean he has his boom stick and his chainsaw hand.

Well, I think the OP is pointed out... at the time the events with Amandine happened, the library had been abandoned. There were no Sharlayan librarians left.

So, I can only speculate a voidsent bibliophile put it there or something.

Wait, so someone wanted to cure his Lady Amandine fetish by summoning a succubus into the body of an ugly corpse and somehow turned it into Ultros? That's a whole new level of failing.
It makes it extra funny that Amandine herself was turned into a Succubus with the help of old Lahabrea. That woman is trouble.

Granted, I meant the LIVING Lady Amandine, the OP also mentioned her being disfigured AFTER the Calamity, so presumably the librarian (since it'd be at least 10 years before the Calamity) would have seen her beautiful self instead of the voidsent she became. That may not have been very clear.
