Yes! =D
Then you hate the story? That is how the story is. I always thought of it being cool that its kind of like a comic book.
Although, I dislike the story itself a bit. In some ways, like it in other ways.

While I personally am not a fan of chat bubbles, I am totally okay with there being the option to enable them so those that want them can have them and those that don't can have them disabled.
However if they do implement them, I would like to see it so different forms of chat communication (say, tell, shout, etc.) could be enabled/disabled independently, so if say I only wanted tells to show I could enable that and have say and shout disabled. Also I think the color of the text should display in the same colors as they do in the chat box, so that if you have multiple chat types enabled you can visually see what type they are without looking at the chat box. Lastly a setting where you can set the maximum number of chat bubbles displayed on screen would be nice in case someone wanted to enable them for ambience but didn't want the screen to turn into a sea of chat bubbles.
If they were implemented like that I might consider using them.
So which kind are you asking players to have, then?
If only. I've been asking for this option since v1.0 launched..
And I continue to not get the claims of not having the resources for it. Again, toggles? If it's too much for a player's computer just disable it, or don't disable it on the PS3.. and all that aside, they have the blasted things in the game anyway; NPCs use them all the time.
So yes, if only, and I still want them and hope we get them eventually - as an optional, of course, even if the people dislike them so often seem to have something against even including the choice to allow them.
Chat bubbles is annoying. What if your server have Gil Seller spam chat?
