Not true. For your own DPS, you are mostly right (and Viridiana gave you an example), but a BRD with a lot of piety can run FOE for 10+ minutes and increase the average DPS of the whole group.

Please tell me how much PIE a BRD needs to have to play Foe for 10+ mins, sensei.

Since I can't make a new thread going to ask here. I'm just starting to to T6-9 coils and was wondering about stats I should worry about. Right not my acc is at 516 but because of this I am losing lots of crit. Is my acc high enough or can I even down grade it to get more of a crit up. So right now I have a Dex of 514 Acc 516 Crit 426 and determination of 267. Any pin others would be great. Ilevel 94

Considering 1965 MP lasts about a minute and 1 PIE = 8 MP.

2381 PIE needed to sing foe requiem for 10 minutes

But this doesn't take into account natural MP regeneration. I don't know the value for that.

First thing, 1PIE=8MP is wrong for BRD, or any class/job that are not caster. 1PIE = 5.26/5.27MP for BRDs

Battle MP regen is 2% of your max MP.

Actually, 5,000 MP should be enough (with HQ X-Ethers) to hit the 10 minute mark, which is "only" about 576 additional PIE from gear. I mean, that makes PIE our main stat all of a sudden. . .

Sorry, I did the math 3 months ago and I only recovered my sheet now. It requires 2 BRD (at that time, our T8 group was running with 2BRD+SMN+BLM+DRG) with something between 2500 and 2750 mana (without potions) to keep 10 minutes of FOE.
