Same here, I honestly dont see the point, I'm sure you've seen the list that's been floating around from the beta times of all the classes. I thought that was going to be way more interesting than recycling old class names.
They still could've given paladin like abilities to gladiator and so forth. The current classes needed to be more polished and not remade. Personally, when I looked at that list and seen jobs like Fencer, Musketeer, Archanist, I was excited. I knew SE was going to recycle their previous concepts to some extent but it was going to be something different atleast on the surface, I even thought we may see jobs like Geomancer, or Astrologist or something like that.
Also, what I find boring is the fact that even if they add those 7 jobs it's still 7 combat jobs we going to play as they are just extensions of current classes. And from all this talk the earliest we going to see that is November (post 1.20). Last year I thought by this November there will be atleast lvl cap raise and 7 new classes playable.
