PvP players don't play FF, they play games dedicated to it or pure PvP games. If you're playing FF for PvP you're doing it wrong.

You do know YoshiP is a huge PvP fan and has played Dark Age of Camelot quite extensively right? The announced "Frontlines" PvP system is quite likely going to be inspired by DAoC's Realm vs Realm.

I'm no fan of balancing PvP for small battles like 4vs4 or something, but large scale RvR like in DAoC is a lot of fun when executed well.

I think you're confused if you think all mmo pvp gamers would not play this game. A lot of guilds haven't bought it because it didn't launch with pvp.

YoshiP being a PvP fan doesn't make FF into a PvP focused game. PvPers will always be a minority here.

Games like Fantasy Earth Zero which had 1.2 million subs (not in the US) which was made by Square-Enix. On the U.S side we pleaded for summoner to be added in. Us dirty PvP people who played a PVP game developed by Square-Enix.

PvP is just something to do on the side. Why can't we all just have a little more fun? Eh? Eh? Why? what do you got against fun?
