I do love the irony. Now people who fancy this feature and never cared about the EXP gains are just yes-men ignoring the ample pushback despite only the second post, which now boasts 53 likes, saying:
And that's only one post. Meanwhile, your post on that same page as the highest like count from the opposing side with only 18.
Normally, this would be fine. We all are entitled to our opinions. Except... apparently not, according you. Because anyone who dares support this feature without EXP is simply kissing up to SE. If I'm to be honest, you know very well your stance isn't the majority and that bothers you for some reason.
I wonder if there were any feature you'd like to have hoping to use it in a way but you can't use it as expected....
Would you think of me as toxic or something if you were asking for a way to use it at your own liking and then I come and say "Nah bro the feature is not meant for you, deal with it!"?
There's a fine line between asking and saying .Content trash no xp.No xp devs ignored what all the players.Nobody will play content etc.
At the end of the day optional content is optional content and nothing more.
There's been a trend over the last 2 years of people trashing content because it doesnt give them what they personally want and their way of justifying it is by claiming majority of the community wants the same thing as them without any strong evidence to back their claims.
Some content i dont like and i dont do.So yeah i deal with it.If i complained about content designed for others i wouldnt consider it being toxic if someone told me to deal with it as id be in the wrong if i was crying over optional content. At the end of the day it's a game and some people need to stop treating it like it's some kind of job where we need to demand se to give us rewards to do this optional 'work' for them.
I think that's a bit of a misconception, to be honest. By and large, NG+ means "replay the game but with certain bonuses" (at least in single player games; I'm not an MMO vet, so I'm not sure if this is common in this genre or if NG+ is even a thing in most other MMOs), which can vary wildly from game to game. Some games require you to level up all over again - Persona 5, for example, does this - but others carry over levels, like Persona 3, or automatically start you at a high level, like FFXII's updated versions (IZJS, Zodiac Age). Sometimes gear is carried over, sometimes it isn't. Generally, something is carried over, or some form of bonus is granted on the subsequent playthrough, but what that is by and large is up to the developers.
