Rav ex farm. doing a few runs and whistle drops. I roll 98. I win. I get *SO EXCITED* and I yank my controller in the air...that was connected to my ps4....that fell to its side...and shut off.... I logged back in but I got an error so i had to restart my ps4. long story short, i was kicked from the party and sitting on my fat choco in idleshire.
I tried looking their names in player search but couldnt find them. I tried to look back on pf too. I feel so bad lol.

It used to be that WHM's protects and stoneskins were more powerful, but the traits that gave the buffs were dropped and instead just made part of the spells from the start so all healers had equally powerful versions of the spells. But, this is really old info (it was only that way durimg the 2.0 days) and irrelevant to a SCH, anyway.
Though, the spells themselves are very mana hungry, and it's just a waste to cast them over and over. -

So, weekly recent. Get the quest from the one creepy little girl to do 3 leveling roulettes for 10 of the singing clusters. Get into the first. Brayflox.
Influx of 60s doing leveling for the same purpose, of course 3/4 in the party are level 60s.The one actually at-level doing it for EXP is the tank. And what does he do? Full clear. Pulls everything. Absolutely everything. Despite him being the only one to get any benefit from it.
I know it's petty, but at 4am I found this too goddamn annoying. -

People are always putting up parties just to do a speed/unsynced clear for this stuff. I personally wouldn't expect anyone in DR or DF who is doing a dungeon at level to cater to my personal desires for a speed run when it is clear they are doing it to rank up/do storyline/clear map or whatever.Quote:

At 2 stacks of this debuff, your damage dealt is reduced by 60% (from 5k to 2k). At 4 stacks, you do 0 damage no matter what, at which point you may as well just bend over and kiss your ass goodbye.
And that was just one of a series of wipes. On the first attempt, I ended up tanking Faust as a BLM. Then he died in the wrong spot and the healers tried to claim that DPS was too low.
Well, I suppose that could be said for the subsequent runs. Although, the reason why DPS was too low might have been because I died quite a bit.
Why did I die so often? Mainly because I often ended up tanking the boss.
Why did I end up tanking the main boss? Mainly because the MT kept dying and as #2 for aggro, the boss then started trying to bash my face in.
Why did the MT keep dying? Gods, I'm sure I don't know, but it may or may not have something to do with a lack of heals. Who knows.
But anyway, it was all thanks to that A9 attempt that the most I could manage today, when I was killed in A12 by a BRD stacking Blazing Scourge on me, was a thousand-yard stare. Maybe I should just accept that no matter how well I know a fight inside-out, no matter if I do all the mechanics assigned to me correctly, I will still inevitably be killed by other people deliberately screwing up mechanics that are out of my control. -

Atma-Thyrus. Nope, not joking. Asked him to change it twice... only healing with Cure II and Medica II, constantly running oom, I even waited after bosses for his MP to recover. Since it was his only level 60 character I shudder, thinking about how he might have farmed the tomes for his gear using his Atma-Thyrus in level 60 content...

ALSO, it will definitely go wrong, because that LB is gonna be weak as hell with those 25-35 weapons!"
yet again, my fingers were not fast enough, so by the time I had screamed "NOOO", the 30 monsters were already pulled and we were all dead.
(and yes, LB didn't even take half of their health).
We got kicked out, and party lead was like "Whoa, that sucks, we can't re-enter!" - proving that even when I manage to write stuff in time, nobody reads it anyway, appearently .___. -

LB damage depends on the kind of LB (Melee/Ranged/Mage) and the ilvl of the weapons in the party. Not sure but I think the ilvl of the user counts with an additional multiplier.
Aetherpool Level is a kind of abstract ilvl. -

Alrighty, so I believe this will be my first post in this thread...
Dungeon: Pharos Sirius (hard)
Team: Dark Knight (FC buddy), Black Mage (me), Ninja, and Scholar.
Dungeon started off with tank saying hello and asking how everyone was doing, scholar instantly replied saying that was a retarded question to ask. Turns out he was sour about the election (which who really isn't right now) and him and the other two begin talking about Trump a little bit. No problems aside from that initial rudeness that nobody else seemed to mind. The comes the first boss. His fairy, other dps, and I all die. After a little while he doesn't attempt to raise either of us or bring out his fairy so the ninja begins to question, turns out he's doing a nuzlocke run and whomever becomes dead stays dead. Eventually he brings out Selene and he and the tank finish off the boss; good for them.
If he had said in the beginning of the dungeon that he was planning on doing a nuzlocke run that would have been one thing and I probably would have had more patience, but boooy did it get under my skin. Alot. Which is stupid because this is just a game. But it then explained why I wasn't getting healed during the boss battle because I wasn't staying super close and didn't think about his fairy, thus no automatic heals which was how he was healing us. He then makes a snip about if we're good dps we wouldn't need any heals. Which I swiftly replied with a sarcastic: sorry, didn't know being a healer meant not healing. As you can imagine it fired me up more and didn't make him happy. Especially when I did a Vote Dismiss and it didn't go through because the tank was being impassive and he hadn't pissed the other dps yet. He continues with his rudeness and finally the other dps makes a comment against him that made me love her-- honestly planned on giving her my comm. Since it seemed like she was on my side at that point I tried to do another vote dismiss but in my red clouded vision, I accidentally clicked her name and sent a vote dismiss for her. It was at that point that I knew I needed to back away from the game so I just dismissed myself and shut down the game. Because it's just a game, I shouldn't get upset despite it being hard not to, especially with my anxiety really acting up because of this incident. >_>
By chance the Ninja happens to see this, I assure you that I didn't mean to do the Vote Dismiss against you! And I hope it didn't go through and that the scholar didn't say any other rude stuff towards you.
TLDR; Rude Scholar wouldn't heal and kept making butthead comments making me wish I had taken screenshots. Dismissed myself due to bad anxiety. -

So it's just squishy little BLM me against Strix at 1%. I hit him with Fire IV. He's still at 1%.
I started channeling another Fire IV. Can I do it? CAN I KILL HIM BEFORE HE KILLS ME?
I finish the cast. He's dead, just as the SCH returns. It's been a while since I've done something like that. -

Ravana Extreme Run. I went in as Scholar, got a WHM cohealer who's dying to every mechanic (myself and the summoner raising her alternately). I LB3'd when Ravana has roughly 25%-ish. We still wipe.
Second try. I LB3 again around 20%ish. Wipe.
Third try. I still have to LB3. We still wiped.
Fourth Try. Yay LB3. Half the party dropped dead including WHM. We somehow managed to beat Ravana with 4 people. I never felt so much panic before. I mean I farmed his bird with a SCH but it was never this bad out of the 70 runs I slapped Ravana in EX. -

Queued for A11 as BLM, because I just needed one last spring to get a pair of 250 pants. To cut a long story short, I encountered a revolving door of tanks leaving parties in their wake, and eventually grew desperate and tired enough to attempt tanking it. As an ilvl 240 PLD.
Through a miracle of miracles, we cleared it with only one wipe while I was learning how to MT on the fly. I found out I'm dumb and can't dodge Spin Crusher or the Laser Swords, though. Still, what's done is done. People were far less salty about the wipe than I expected, and I even won the spring I needed, along with a comm.
And then, in my infinite, exhausted wisdom, I traded those 4 bloody springs I had for a pair of fending pants, instead of the healing pants I wanted. Last goddamn time I'm ever doing anything while this tired. -

And of course you know what happened next.

To be fair, I wouldn't have kicked you but I agree with the healer there. You have a shortcut after defeating the boss, it will not be faster to just ressurrect you. Plus the weakness. But then I understand why they kicked you if you just stay there tanking the floor... It's kinda you being the silly one here.
