Who does leves for gil...
Crafters
- Craft 1 item that gives 20k profit.
- Craft 20 of those items and put it in the ward each day.
- They sell and give you 400k profit (each day).
- After 10 days you have 4M profit.
- After 90 days you have 36M profit.
Adventurers/Fighters
- Buy 5 cheap items from ward (20k each) for spirit bond
- Buy 5 sets of each (500k)
- Go bond with wolves for an hour
- Convert 25 items into materia
- Should get at least 1M worth of materia (500k profit)
- After 10 days you should have 5M profit.
- After 90 days you should have 45M profit
Sorry no section for gathers/miners, I do not know those off the top of me head.
The suggestions above are using conservative numbers.
The downside of course is one will have to put some work into it (i.e., think what should be crafted, or think what should be bought to be spirit bonded). This could be a deal-breaker for some.
I'm sorry but I do not know more simpler ways to make gil than this. On the plus side, if there were really simple ways to make gil then items would cost even more ^.^;;
Also, if you are really really struggling to make gil, then wait a few months and the relic weapon prices will drop even more (they are already falling). Will be pretty cheap in time.
The part that Irks me is that Paladin requires a double meld of Hells Eye IV, while some other Jobs relic requires Mind IV, which is just plain imbalanced. One is super rare and expensive materia, other is materia I have plenty of since it is common. "Relics aren't for everyone" Doesn't even pertain to this problem.
Speed runs. I'm sick of them. They are the most boring way to make content "hard" by pretty much requiring you to stack a specific class/job. Don't say people have done it before with a full job run, that happened like once?
Ifrit Extreme was an AWESOME way to provide hard content to getting a relic. This speed run bullsh*t has got to go and I'm sure PLENTY of people will agree with me.
At least with the rest of the quest you can show some type of work towards it. Double melded weapons you can buy even though it's luck, and some of them are going cheaper. I was mad at that, but as prices drop, it's not so bad.
Square Enix, please listen to your community and be done with stupid speed runs. It's the only reason I'm not doing the Relic quest.
