I'm curious what feedback people do think they listen to. I do not think they pay any attention at all to the forums or Reddit given the lack of interaction. In Twitch streams, community reps go out of their way not to speak on potentially controversial topics for fear of any negative or conflicting information reaching the ears of the higher ups, causing more problems. Twitter is used as advertising fluff and they never respond to any issues players have.
We have been told years in the past that they scour social media and the forums for topics of interest to relay to the development team, but it's literally been years since we have been told that. There have also been many instances like the above Mr. Happy situation where somehow important feedback had been completely glossed over until an influencer spoke directly to the director about grievances.
I baselessly think they look at some data in-game to see what's popular, but lately I feel like this is the only feedback they listen to. Without any sort of discourse from their side, it's a very disappointing venture.
