Becasuse playing better will make incorrect and inaccurate visual indicators suddenly become correct clearly....

Games are scripted because you'd have to be a moron to lose to 8 guys if you get to control a boss, so any boss that's beatable at all clearly isn't very smart. Even if you're forced to obey aggro list for targetting/positioning (otherwise turn around and Mountain Buster, instant game over), if you can simply say use all your moves at the same time you would still almost certainly never lose as the boss.
Well, that statement isn't entirely wrong. I'm sure there are people who could beat say Demon Wall with their monitor turned off. That doesn't mean showing you a blank screen is a good way to represent the world. You shouldn't have to play better to overcome the game's deficiencies.
Yes it does always works on Titan/Coil during lag. Foresight a god given skill where repetative actions just imprints in your brain and you instinctively jump out of the way. Since every fight/mob is scripted I have 0 sympathy for this lag QQ you either wait it out while they work on it since they know it's an issue or just PLAAAAAYYY BETTTERRR :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The point here is that they have known its an issue since early stages of beta and have made no serious attempts to fix it, and everything they actually do say in relation to it sounds more like they are trying to pretend the issue doesn't exist than fixing it. Just look at how many pages this thread has without a SE reply, but the one on adding Fantasia to the Mog station gets one at half the number of pages?? It's easy to say "Just wait until they fix it", but if no one complains about it they have no reason to fix it.
I'm pretty sure SE doesn't consider this an issue because you don't just accidentally setup your game architecture the way FF14 does. The game's lag is very deliberate and not something that's the result of cheap hardware, but rather something fundamentally built into the game itself.
So what we are saying is that it's intentional to get hit with aoe although you have moved way out of the marked area in line with the visual indication, and that you can also avoid this by running out then back in? This may be deliberate, but it seems to be the same as deliberately setting vehicle parking sensors to the wrong range:
Bang! - don't complain that you've just reversed into another car when you where getting a signal that there was plenty of room, it's a deliberate feature.
If they are going to stick with the built in delay then just adjust the visual timings to correct these. At the moment they are incorrect, a flaw in the game mechanics.
Dear Sir/Madam. Do the whole world a huge favor and don't post if you have nothing constructive nor of value to contribute to the thread, other than telling people how much BETTTERRR you PLAAAAAYYY, so much you could play the game with your eyes closed, standing on one foot and using just one hand, which, by the way, we don't care to know about. Even watching a slug crawl is more interesting than that. Thank you. :)
On another note, unfortunately all of these "solutions" are based off memory, and sadly the only things I've been able to do as a workaround but players shouldn't have to be doing this to overcome an apparent and known deficiency in the game that SE keeps the community in the dark about for a long time. Also, yesterday there was a DRG in the party who was lagging even worse than me so obviously these "predict" movements wouldn't work since what he sees on the screen stops then immediately appears all of a sudden, he wouldn't have any control over it, what if the mob does an AoE attack while everything on his screen has stopped? How do you avoid that? How can you tell it's going on? You can't, you can just guess. And it shouldn't be that way. *shrugs*
It's not location based. Some people have it some people don't. THAT is the biggest problem. I'm in the UK and posted earlier in this thread how I can move out of WotL at 99% and not get hit. I have posted spell interupts under the 300ms mark and people still want to tell me I have lag. I don't have the lag that others are getting.
