I didn't read the entire thread and someone else may have made this point already but I saw mention of a tank rotation early on. The difference with tank rotation is that when I tank, I can weave in mits on myself or the party as needed and handle my main job of aggro and boss positioning but still keep my dps rotation going.
When I heal, I may have to completely drop the dps to rescue a run that's going pear-shaped and focus entirely on healing. So having a more rigid rotation takes away some of the flexibility a healer has to address that sort of situation. 11111 is also boring. I'm not sure what the solution is but that would be one concern I would have with a tank-style dps rotation.
