You are not the only one who studied fashion and I'm sure you know silhouette matters. This is not a k-mmo where clothing clings and can just fit another gender. Male AuRa have hourglass figures, so they can pull off an outfit meant for that kind of frame, generally female. It's why potatoes have their own variants, because no totters or real curves outside their oval shape. Making it fit for men means more than stuffing them in a dress that doesn't look right. Which is what some people don't seem to get.
Another thing to always keep in mind, is target audience. What did the designers intend? Who are they selling it to? When a pretty dress or feminine outfit goes on sale, at the drawing board, there very likely was no "And this is how it looks on men." It's going to look bad, it's going to look like a joke unless it were modified.
