Nonsense. I've hosted communities fighting for equality for "everyone" for years. We treated everyone fair and equal, no matter their religion, sexuality, race, etc..

Though what I see more and more today is LGBTQIA+ asking for special treatment in discrimination of everyone else. No wonder I know so many gay people feel offended if you put them in the LGBTQIA+ box.

True equality, respect, tolerance and acceptance does NOT mean you force people to see it your way. It means you treat the people around you exactly the same without even asking for their background seeing as in equality that doesn't matter at all.
Being LGBTQIA+ doesn't make you "special", it just makes you a person just like the rest of us. All I'm asking is. People like me have been at your side from the very start, so please don't make it feel like you'll never consider me an equal just cuss I'm straight. A good start would be to not make request in favour of "only" LGBTQIA+.

I'm sorry but this is just laughable. How many LGBTQIA+ folks are in media? The overwhelming majority of romance in media is heterosexual, cissexual romances. Your equality seems much more like erasure. LGBTIQA+ needs special treatment because we are still marginalized.

Case in point - I'd argue Titan himself is effectively doing exactly this with some (read: many) of his posts on here, going over the top in an insincere way to influence regular, run-of-the-mill people to view the LGBT community and its supporters in a negative light. There are actually plentiful examples of far-right anti-LGBT groups pretending to be part of the community with the goal of making it look bad, as they realize public opinion in general has left bigots in the proverbial stone age.

I mean, many of us did call them out against such things. I stayed far away from that game (Because f-U JK) and the most I did was silent unfollow some streamers. Well said. LGBTQ folk can be idiots and even bigots (The about of bi-phobia I have seen in my life has mostly come from LGBTQ folk) but there are clear cases of far-right groups pretending to be part of the communities they hate to try and discredit them. Especially with trans folk at the moment.

What don't you understand about the term equality?
About 10% on the planet are LGBT but you want to share the cake 50-50?
Don't you see that this would severely discriminate straight people?

Also what you don't seem to mention is that when a boss looks for people they expects them to generate income meaning they'll look at competence and only that.
They do NOT look at race, preference or whatever because then they would be discriminating and that would be against equality.

It seems to me that you are talking with 2 tongue's stating your version of LGBTQIA+ is against discrimination and your sollution is flipping the table meaning you are not really against inequality.

On my discord server there is a mixture of freedom of speech & equality. I was raised Christian but even then I allow members to insult my religion since its their free will that God gave to them and its not up to me to decide what they can and can't say.
What I do however is place a border where personal disrespect, continuous disrespect and extreme disrespect is forbidden. The only way for people to live together in peace is if they get over their own ego. Good people do not get offended easily since they have a high tolerance. I have several gay friends who press the laugh emoji on gay memes. We can see the enemy in everything if we choose to do so.

I however aim for open minded wise people who stop seeing boundaries, who stop putting everyone in boxes and who try to see the positive in everything rather then the usual negative.
Its why we are friendly towards LGBT who consider us equals and leave the dumb shit behind where we are supposedly supremacists for being born straight, white or whatever.

Equality is a part of love, it is always peaceful and never vengeful.

Question is... do you believe in equality and do you want it? Cuss thats all it is... a choice & a belief based on your will power to make it so.
Sure there will always be some people on the planet that judge or take abuse... but since when is it our task to become social justice wariors? I think we both know that us poor people can never make a difference against the will of the rich "UNLESS" we consider eachother equal and not eachothers enemy. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Divide and conquer has always been a popular tactic and I fear LGBTQIA+ may just have been infiltrated by the very same people that benefit from this.

And another sad fact is that they seem to have merged with hate groups who preach discrimination and even hate.

Feminism for example seems to have a lot of man hating woman who appear to condescend men in how they word how things should be.
BLM also seems to be home to white hating extremists (not all of them, but many) who even beat on people who came out in support having boards stating "all lives matter" which clearly states that we are all equal, but they got beat up for it by BLM members...
There also seems to be a growing tendency of treating "cisgender" as scum.

I fear they are combining power with the wrong sort of people to be heard, but it makes the wrong voice sound louder...

People will never listen to hate and intimidation... the only way to make them listen is by showing them pure love & respect. Because that is what touches all of us.

Anyhow don't get me wrong. I'm not angry at you or anything. I'm just stating that in order to reach equality... We have to go back to the basics because that is what truth is, simple. Never overthink it and always leave out your emotions when it comes down to making decisions that affect everyone, not just ourselves.

I've been in poly relationship with both girl and guy.Reading things like this or going to yahoo to look at my emails.. Every time I feel worried about the counter push back that will come from it. So can just have a peaceful story without caring. I love when there is lgbt characters in a story so long as it feels natural and not just thrown in to suit me and others

Your privilege is showing. Of course you don't notice anything as a straight man because you are the default. But representation means a lot to LGBTQIA+ folks because we have been historically marginalized and even today, there are bills that aim to cut our human rights. This is exactly my point. Your reaction is normal and logical. I like any type of content as long as its not "in my face" meaning not expressed too intimate, awkward or agressive. That way you can enjoy everything without the possibility for anyone feeling uncomfortable.

I grew up with an alcoholic dad who didn't support me, a mum who always picked his side and 2 brothers who loved to bully. Ontop of that I was bullied 12y straight in school and was called all sorts of racist names by people of brown skin. I never got an equal chance in life because that is how things work... you need people that support you and elevate your self esteem. In my case they crushed it so I lost my will to fight for what I wanted. And thats really the only reason why, cuss I didn't make an effort. We ALL get equal chances, some just have it easier... but that has got nothing to do with the colour of your skin.
In school if you had a white skin you had to make a harder effort to pass, foreigners were allowed to cheat in class and teachers pretended to not see it because likely they were afraid to be called racist and lose their job.

To be fair TitanMen never mentionned skin color, but being straight. You're the one who started talking about how white people may have it worse actually (!).

Would you say that we live in a post-discrimination society and that biais at work etc. doesn't exist and favor certain group of people? Because while your personal experiences are valid, it's been contradicted by many studies. Whether you agree with its effectiveness or not (I think it's fair to have doubts), one of the explicit goals in the representation of marginalized groups in media is to reduce negative biais.

Also discussing about political subjects is not the same as political propaganda. In any case, since they seem to actively delete posts but the thread is still alive, the mod team probably think such topics are allowed.

Rainbow colour is mostly a western thing, in the far east they don't really bother about what people are into, other than you see symbols from the western popculture.

This is not meant negative in anyway, but colour spectrum for our eyes goes like that and if you sprinkly water up against light or towards the sun you can crate a rainbow of your own as well, Ryna and Gaia are just good friends, and why all these bait threads and whatever, is their a western part of the world, that think they need to label everything?
