Housing: Shirogane (Ultimate)

Throughout patch series they add many new things, some of it wildly different from any past content. Most of it gets dismissed by this community as not significant enough or bad (diadem, aquapolis, verminion, Feast, WT) while a lot of the feedback is people asking for more of the old stuff "we want more variety in our roulettes" or just complaining without expressing they want. PotD is a rare example of a new content type with generally favorable feedback.
Ok so this is something. Personally I've always wanted more to be done with field zones. Slide the ratio of instanced to non-instanced endgame activities back a bit to the open world. Something with meat though, not just occasional hunt mark pops.
Maybe what people want is a revolutionised patch structure, where some major patches don't service any existing content types at all and the entire patch is composed of a brand new type of content? No trials, no raid, no dungeons, no main scenario, etc? Would we be willing to wait twice as long for updates to those things if a large amount of experimental content was wedged in-between? Of course the risk is simultaneously upsetting people who like the old patch structure and people who want something new but didn't like what was offered, "another diadem" debacle.
There is so much to do in FFXIV especially leveling content all my jobs are not even close to being 70 yet and probably won't be for a long time. This next patch actually adds a lot of interesting things to do, more housing, 24 man raid, new dungeon, squadron dungeons, shinryu ex and ultaimte bahamut, and a new pvp map.
Thordan EX took me the entire patch to clear. so I'll be plenty busy with Royal Menagerie EX
I'm starting to believe that people here just seem to be completely ignorant of what is actually coming or atleast choose to be for the sake of victimizing themself and cry out loud "the sky is falling"
- A completely new moba style pvp mode, that isn't just different way to kill eachother but a fully fleshout map with mechanincs asplayer controlled mech and variations of mechs specialized for different situations, tower defense, 24 vs 24. " oh but I don't pvp so this aint new"
- A completely new DESPERATELY needed and required by the hardcore community raid mode, that extends the live of the hardcore community adding a new flavor to the raiding scene and longetivity value to not only the community but the raid scene itself as it's required to clear savage to access ultimate and there's thousands of people still in in V3. And hardcore raiders have a reason to resub for odd numbered patches. "oh but I don't raid so this aint new"
- A completely new SOLO CONTENT to go with NPC into dungeons to lvl upgrade and progress with them ALSO A HIGHLY REQUESTED FEATURED by many of those who wante to do more solo content in the game, followed by rewards emotes that many has also been asking for ages something new that never had before. "oh but I don't like squadron so this aint new"
- How about a new MAP MODE to do with your friends at your own pace and enjoyment to satisfy your gambling bug and further expand the quapolis mode that a lot of people seem to enjoy. "oh but I don't have enough friends so this aint' new"
-Ok, how about an entire new residential area, no only that we remodeled them to allow swimming on each and everyone one of the distric we also updatedto goblets with a really nice roman style bath to increase the aesthetic of the place and allow swimming. "I don't craft so I can afford a house, I purposely choose to be on a overpopulated server so there's no way I can afford to get any of the more than 600 aviable houses and swimimg is useless this is not new"
-Hmmm... we are making this small little nice new feature to play your own music manually for those of you who wants to have fun and interact with the community. "do I look like a social person, NOT NEW"
-Welp how about a completely new zone completely dedicated for your relic weapon (and possibly relic armor) a new ambitious project that we have never done before but due to the scope and size of this new feature we can't have it in time for 4.15 but we it will be ready a couple of month after it for 4.2 "wtf sq you make less and less every expansion, you don't make anything new and now I have to WAIT? wait for something that isn't a reused feature to mindlessly grind old content but something new? f@$%^ this! lamest patch EVER where's my 2 boring dungeons."
also keeping in mind that as any other patch:
-we are getting lots of quality of life changes also some really good UI changes
-Job balances
-Unique gear from dungeons
-dungeons
-probably the most promising 24 man raid written by none other than Yasumi Matsuno as guess creator and it's respective gear.
-An mazing trial (probably my soon to be all favorite)
-hildibran
-beast tribes
-main story
-hairstyles
-mounts
-emotes
-minions
I swear this thread is gold. Anyone who can come up with a straight face saying that this patch is empty and that they are not doing anything new nor the are doing as much calling people white knight is a living example of an spoiled little......
I think what he was driving at is that there is a lacking of content that is considered foundational. Yes there is an ultimate fight, but its still 8 people in a circled instance vs. the enemy. While its still the first patch in this expansion, the question is going to be how much content are they adding which can be built upon like PoTD did in HW. Honestly, don't know....its a skeleton patch. Hits most of the marks in what we have come to expect, but it would be nice to see something new introduced.
People are really content getting the #5 combo every day, but some people like to get something different off the menu once in a blue moon.
To be honest I think Wow can be easily compared for other reasons as well. I'm clearly a wow fan but it's because it does have some quality, even if it's "the worst mmorpg of all time". But that's beside the point.
Why is wow a worthy comparison beside both being p2p games? In WoW each expansion ACTUALLY did a lot of changes and not just minor tweaks or UI modifications: each class would get totally revamped skill sets, rotations, sometimes even new skill and lose older ones. As someone who played paladin since tbc, they changed so much in the years that they always feel like an entirely new class which isn't a bad thing (and literally the only reason why I bought Stormblood, but it wasn't enough)
But besides the class changes, new skills, new areas and other changes, think about what each expansion brought to us (some of the same features in one expansion also reappears in another, so I'll avoid naming it "twice")
TBC:
10-25 raids (down from 40)
Token system introduced
2 New races (Draenei and Blood elves)
Flying mounts
New Profession: Jewelcrafting.
With Jewelcrafting, armor slots for gems
Heroic Dungeons
WOTLK:
Introduction of Heroic Raids (with 10 man being normal and heroic being 25: it was changed later to have both 10 and 25 a normal and heroic version instead )
Massive PvP Region: Wintergrasp (with a raid boss inside for those who owned the area)
New class: Death Knight (with 3 specs, so it's technically 3 classes in one)
New Profession: Inscription
With Inscription, the introduction of Glyphs (aka, skill modifications
Barbershop
Phasing (I think at least it started here)
Cataclysm
Complete rework of the entire world (new quests, changed areas) and also being able to fly in Azeroth
2 New races (Goblin and Worgen)
New Class/Race Combo (human hunter, gnome priest, Troll Druid, Tauren Paladin, etc)
New Profession: Archaeology
Guild Levelling
Stats rework, with the introduction of the Mastery System (which is different for every spec)
Stat Reforging
MOP:
New Class (Monk, who can fulfill all 3 roles)
New Race (Pandaren)
Simplification of speccs (no more talent trees)
Introduction of Scenarios
Introduction of Challenge Mode (Aka Timed runs)
Pet Battle system (aka what LoV should've been!)
Cross realm areas
Black Market (aka RNG bidding)
Flex Raid (more to that in WoD)
WoD:
HD models for characters (A bit odd, but a nice thing)
Garrison System (It had potential on paper, it was just badly managed)
Cross-Realm Group Finder for all content
Introduction of Mythic Raiding and the changes to raid difficulties (TL;DR: Flex Raids are now easy mode, Heroic are Normal mode and Mythic is Heroic mode)
Proving Grounds for queue random heroics (not the best idea, but could've been expanded)
Legion
Artifact System (essentially relics, but better made and different for each specc. Oh and customizable too!)
New Class: Demon Hunter (with only 2 roles instead of 3)
Class Halls (mini garrisons, but not as intrusive)
Class Campaigns for each class
Wardrobe system (aka what FFXIV should strive for!)
Quests for each profession
Introduction of Mythic Dungeons with a scaling difficulty similar to Diablo 3 Great Rift system. It's challenge mode but with more loot.
Introduction of World Quests (essentially dailies, but they change every X hours and keep the world busy with different - and USEFUL - loot and AP)
As you can see, each Expansion at least tried to bring new stuff to the table and while a lot of the content was practically the same (new raids, new dungeons, new factions), they ALSO changed a lot of stuff and introduced new features to test them out. And I like these changes because even if I don't like them (and some I really didn't), I felt like I was playing an entirely new game! Just now I've replayed Frost Mage after a long pause since WOTLK and it plays NOTHING like before, same for druid or rogue (outlaw instead of combat) and many others.
In ffxiv, what really has changed? We NOW got those major job reworks we desperately needed - which is great, but did we really need to wait for an entire expansion for that? - but what else is different from ARR? Diadem? POTD? LoV?
SB promised to bring "new exciting content" at the cost of fewer dungeons, but so far all I'm seeing is the same old content with a new coat of paint: if they're going to do the same exact content patching like they did HW then I guess I'm drawing the line and move on.
If it was an f2p I could easily skip over this rambling, but I've played f2p with a tenth of the budget this game but with enough content to keep itself busy for enough time.
To sum my point: FFXIV barely seems to implement or change the game and instead brings more of the same. Meanwhile, other MMORPGs try to change and WoW is one big example of how each expansion, is quite literally an entirely new game.
@Mya
That was a very long post, that over generalized the view point of the other side of the argument. Good job. (I say that with a straight face) I guess anyone you disagree with must be spoiled and entitled yes?
Translation: There's not enough content for the 5%'ers that no one else will give a rat's behind about.
I'm not bothered by the amount of content between expansions. I've got a Switch and PS4 to fill in any gaps that present themselves. This whole thread is a large nothingburger combo.
Honestly I felt like she nailed it.
I keep saying it, but this patch is really barren for progression focused players. The lot of us coming forward and pointing out all the incoming content only to see it handwaved as not good enough gets frustrating.
But I get it. When your focus is on making a powerful character, this game has always been able to fulfill that desire.
We desperately needed a QoL focussed patch, Ivalice is already inducing nostalgia tears just from the trailer's music, and I'm really hype for another PVP mode. But, jeez, I was really looking forward to being about to stay on task for the new relic. Oh well.
(Maybe, I'll be able to snap a house up from all the players relocating...)
I'm being realistic and not hand waving. Can you honestly sit there and tell me that swimming in the housing areas is going to occupy you for three weeks? How much time do you spend swimming now? I have already covered every point she made. I can quote and repost if it helps. The raid isn't intended for everyone, the devs already said this. Squads have you do dungeons that haven't been relevant for 4 years. Unless your saying that not creating a new dungeon so we can do 4 old dungeons is a good thing. Then she talks about eureka that is not in this patch when the discussion is about this patch. Bringing up content coming in 5.0 is just as relevant to this discussion.
The difference between you and I here is simple; I have other things in game to work on happily in tandem to the new bits on content. We aren't the same category of player.
I'm still working on my Animas, I still have minions and mounts to collect, I'm still working on gaining Adders achievements, I still have side jobs to level, I still have some furniture to add to my apartment, I still have some EX content to catch up on, and I still want a Squadron full of Lalafell to earn.
Tbh, I'm plenty busy when I do play.
So when I hear players say, "I'm so bored! There is nothing for me here!" I'm fully aware you aren't interested in anything but making your iLVL higher and what to smash it against.
And this isn't the patch for you.
And? You and people with your mentality fail to realize this is a game with players with varying tastes. Who cares what the percentage of players who want to access that content, or can, are? They're filling a niche, just like any PvP content added. Not everyone crafters or gathers, but under your mentality and others with your mentality, it's not content because X amount of people don't want to do it? That's inane.
Best personal example: I hate triple triad. SE putting in triple triad, because I hate it, means it's not content and, therefore, wasted resources. Nevermind there are people out there that like mini games.
Also, you realize that "95% of the player base" is solely NA/EU rates, right? The Japanese servers have a 76% clear rate. So much for "just 5% of the player base."
There is a backlog of games I could go back to, but this patch I'll just be doing the same old creation grind, 24 man, and try Savage again so I can at least beat O3 and not struggle so much on O2 with pugs. I'm determined to beat every EX primal this expansion, dog, weapon and all unlike in HW where I was so behind learning parties for old stuff are few and far between and people are still impatient.
Also caved in and bought Destiny 2 in case I just don't feel like logging into Eorzea for a while.
Ultimate level raiding, or something so hard it may as well just be a wipe button, been an requested feature since Coil Savage was a thing. There was a subset of players that demolished that content despite being far too difficult for the average player of the time. (Mind you, iLVLs were still very low.)
Plus, an enormous difficulty spike grabs certain players. Having something to outrageous to conquer is good for the game.
I will NEVER touch Ultimate, but I know players who are thrilled for it and are going to work on it. So it's still new content. (And I will enjoy the streams and vids of other's struggle.)
But this is also the exact reasons why the bring back vanilla/BC is getting stronger and stronger though
Take note that I don't care 1 bit for them, however cannot deny their existence
Changing something will make some1 happy and some1 else unhappy, I swear I think SB was really made to convey this message too many themes could be traced to the playerbase
Wasn't Stormblood meant to have a much bigger budget than Heavensward?
I raid as well doesn't mean I feel like raiders deserve a whole fight amongst themselves. Going back to the diadum example the weapon was a waste because nobody had a realistic chance of getting one. Sorry that I want content thst most players can actually take part in my mistake. squadrons was a let down five old dungeons is lame. 24 man and shiyru was a given, so that leaves super savage that's new which many people want even be doing.
If FFXIV did rehauls of jobs as radical as you claim WoW has and does regularly, I think much of the playerbase would bail, or we'd see a similar "vanilla or not" phenomenon as WoW has. Even with the level cap increases and role pool consolidation, jobs haven't changed on a deep, fundamental level.
This is an appealing feature of FFXIV since we don't need to constantly learn a new job unless we choose to. If we leave the game for some reason, we can just pick it back up no problem. This is by design.
It's called accessibility.
if 4.1 actually fixes the game a bit, actually dresses inventory issues, and such it is fine.
However my understanding is that 4.1 is only starting to address it, not solve, so I am not sure how good the changes are for waiting this long. I really think FFXIV needs some parallel progress progression, because the high turn over rate in gear is insane.
I heard we’re finally getting exercise emotes. I’m excited.
It's more than likely also a ton of assets for future content. (base coding for Eureka and the new Relic) As an immediate it seems minimal; but we'll see what the actual patch holds at release.
Why not?
It's your choice to not do it. I don't pvp, yet I don't complain that pvper have a whole part of the game to themselves. From my perspective that's dead content to me as well, but if there are people who enjoy it, why not have it? It's a huge themepark, not everything is for everyone, you go and pick what is for you.
On topic: I don't feel like we're getting less content, just I've been playing for so long, all content feels used and old. I'd appreciate something new, fresh and challenging.
I personally don't see the big deal. There's really not much for the most hardcore raiders, so I have no issue with SE throwing them a bone. Let the hardcore players have their hardcore content...as I said in another thread about a similar subject. The casual crowd gets more all the time, this patch is literally no different. I'm a casual player, for the record, though I play a lot.
5% is a far bigger chunk of players than own a house (in any district), yet every patch we get new furniture's and housing features which people enjoy, including a massive furniture capacity increase in 4.0 which was met with so much praise. Why are people content for mass amounts of server space and resources dedicated to housing on a near constant basis, but as soon as raiders get one bit of much-needed content (that uses recycled assets no less), then the toys are thrown out of the pram.
I'm not complaining about housing btw, people enjoy their house and they are entitled to their content, I'm complaining about this mentality that anything to do with top end raiding is a "waste of resources". This is a theme park MMO designed to provide something for everyone (not everything for one demographic), so let the top end players have their content finally, and enjoy the content that was designed for you.
I think you misunderstand the diadem weapon controversy. Nobody cared that it was hard to get, people cared that it was locked behind layers of RNG, forcing them to grind out bad content for the sake of giving it life. On top of that, the weapons were 5 ilvls higher than both relic and raid, and was released at the same time as the final stage of the relic, adding salt to the hard work put into those weapons weapon because they were less powerful than an RNG weapon tied to bad content. To make matters worse, the devs response was "calm down" and "its the end of the expansion, who cares" rather than addressing a blatant flaw in their progression system.
Ultimate coil, on the other hand, is an additional progression tier for raiders that enhances the game's progression rather than undermines it. Your example is not only wrong but also allows me to point out why the ultimate series is a good thing.
Would you fancy I list the overwhelming amount of content dedicated to casual players? Like Lamb said, theme park MMOs strive to have something for everyone. If we dissect each content niche, be it crafting, gathering, roleplay, level grinds, collecting and etc, you'll quickly discover most individual content has a low percentage of interest. Why can't raiders have their small slice of the pie, especially since Savage underwent considerably nerfs since Midas? As for Diadem. People were upset because the relic weapon was no longer BiS, the 280 weapon (and Diadem itself) had enormous amounts of RNG and the design felt incredibly lazy. Personally, it's that last one which stuck out for me. If the devs had any confidence in Diadem's revival, they wouldn't have put a potential BiS weapon on a carrot.
seriously... i love how you ignore the trouble and try to white knight this soo much...
- A completely new moba style pvp mode, that isn't just different way to kill eachother but a fully fleshout map with mechanincs asplayer controlled mech and variations of mechs specialized for different situations, tower defense, 24 vs 24. " oh but I don't pvp so this aint new"
pvp was never the main focus on FF14 and if more of 20% really partake in pvp we are lucky, most people do it a bit more in stormblood only because it allows to level up... indeed is nice to get a new mode more balanced (1v1 faction instead of a 1v1v1) however it's a niche content in FF14.
"oh but I don't raid so this aint new"
this one did make me laughs... the hardcore community get a content every freaking 3 month, extrem savage of binding coil will only be done (and i don't say completed) by a small margin of the community that have already tons of content only dedicated to them... what the hell? why the savage was tuned down a bit, it's probably for allows more player to complete it... create a content that is only done by less of 3 freaking purcent of the community is stupid... many dev have try this in past... wow did try with naxx 60 and they was forced to reuse it in lich king for make people see it. wildstar did try.... they have ended in free to play and loose tons of player by trying to care soo much for the hardcore gamer...
but here a funny fact, the hardcore gamer of the community is only the most visible, not the biggest... do the extrem savage of binding coil is welcome... honestly, i feel it's an error... but at least 3% of the community will have a new thing to do?
- A completely new SOLO CONTENT to go with NPC into dungeons to lvl upgrade and progress with them ALSO A HIGHLY REQUESTED FEATURED by many of those who wante to do more solo content in the game, followed by rewards emotes that many has also been asking for ages something new that never had before. "oh but I don't like squadron so this aint new"
this content is... nice for new player, for old player he have... small to little interest soo far... most of us have already all our jobs 60 means we have nothing to get from squad... and i'm sure some have already every jobs 70 (talking of the combat/magic job). squad was always something wierd, something to take care every 18 hours... and forget after. ihope it will bring something... but do it's what the game was needing really hard? no, solo content is nice, but what the game lack soo bad is content at 4.
- How about a new MAP MODE to do with your friends at your own pace and enjoyment to satisfy your gambling bug and further expand the quapolis mode that a lot of people seem to enjoy. "oh but I don't have enough friends so this aint' new"
don't start me on the map... they are a scam... in my eyes they are the worst content of the game... not enough to have total random loot that often can be junk, they are glorified heavily luck based content, where if you have no chance, your map will not get you into uznair... and even if you are lucky, often you will not even pass the first door... because well luck is bxxxx... why not have make it a challenging content that ask people to be good for be allowed to continue? no, we do a luck based system with barely hard fight. not without forget that get a map is limited at 1 map per person every 18 hours. that... nice... only if you have level up gatherer for get the map... what a large portion community don't even have done it.
-Ok, how about an entire new residential area, no only that we remodeled them to allow swimming on each and everyone one of the distric we also updatedto goblets with a really nice roman style bath to increase the aesthetic of the place and allow swimming. "I don't craft so I can afford a house, I purposely choose to be on a overpopulated server so there's no way I can afford to get any of the more than 600 aviable houses and swimimg is useless this is not new"
you know that some server have very high population, i think even get a house in this new district will be... hard... plus... this district is in the game since the expansion, it was blocked for allows more player to reach it... not as content added in the 4.1... it's something added in the 4.0 that is finally working...great addition... since it's still cost an arm and most of the community will still not get a house. (and i talk of FC mostly)
we talk of emptiness in the patch, not because it don't bring new thing, it's because what it bring, don't will give a true activity for most of the player... amusingly the most interesting part of this patch was ignored by you, the tribes, that give an activity... but even this is limited in the time... if it's like heavensward it will be between 20-30 minutes for finish the quest per day... what we do ask is for a true activity outside raiding... outside pvp... we do ask for content that will give us a reason to play more than a few hours per week... some player will probably do one dungeon and them tribes per day, a few raid for get them loot and not play anymore...
leading to a lack of people around most of the time, impossible to create a community or activity that will tie people together... someone have said it's a massively online game... sadly most player only play with a small group of friend the size changing, but it's often around 10-20 people max... it's not massive.. it's not a mmorpg... people around me are not different than npc i will probably never talk with... because we lack the content to go meet new player... raid are not means for this, pvp is not means for this... this need to work on a content that will not lock us in our group of friend... force us to do stuff together...
i regret the hamlet of the V1... even if it was not that great, it was still forcing player to play together...
here the hardcore gamer will go in the bubble do them content and we will still have a large part of the community that will have no content to play with... strangely deep dungeon did allows me to meet tons of fun and interesting people... it was lacking in many way, but with work, it will have been a content that can rivalize and be an alternative endgame for the game... is not because we will get a content challenging and reward at 4 that raid will become irevelant, it will only offer more choice... and that what we need, more choice..
we need something that will break the format of FF14 offer new possibilty and a true evolution to the game. deep dungeon can if they work on it, be this... they need to work on this asap. but i'm not stupid, i know it will not come soon, it recquire time and work... but for the futur expansion, they need to plan that the content release in the 5.1... is not the relic... it's the content to 4 player. because never the game was more active than when the deep dungeon was added, and that a truth... even diadem and hunt have never meet as much activity.
Also, stop with the abusive language. Using terms like "white knight" to dismiss Myas post just hurts your argument and shows that you don't have one. There are people legitimately excited for this patch, and calling them white knights for saying as such shows how single minded your views are. Your deconstruction of the new content screams of bias, saying things like "pvp was never the focus and only 20% of people do it" dismisses the players that do do it, and your statement about raiding shows your ignorance towards what raiding has become (i.e. puggable).
What your post can be summarised to is that you don't personally enjoy some of the content on offer (because it isn't designed for you), and because of that anyone who does is wrong.
One thing you say that is somewhat right is that XIV could use some mixing up in terms of patch structure (which I would argue that ultimate coil has done, even if not for you personally), but just because this patch isn't 100% new content that you can consume all of doesn't make it a "bad" or "empty" patch.
Exactly heaven forbid someone doesn't agree and actually likes the content in this patch or in the game in general.
And another QOL change coming in 4.1. Will be interesting to see the full patch notes before passing judgement on a release.
https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/pr/blog/002170.html
One fight after four years sounds fair. Truthfully, one could argue it was overdue. Again, because it doesn't suit your tastes, it's simply not content.
Yes. One fight after four years.
Wrong. Raiders get content to do roughly every 6 months (raid tiers come out roughly x.05, x.2 and x.4). However, that is raiders and you need not be hardcore to raid - that's just a stigma EU and NA players have thrown onto it and the Japanese player-base have otherwise proven to be a myth. There has been a lack of hardcore content. The Second Coil of Bahamut Savage was pretty much looked on as a failure. Gordias nearly killed raiding because of the difficulty spike that was met for player demands for more difficulty, but otherwise taught SE that if they are going to put challenging content in, it needs to be annexed from the content that "midcore" players could complete. The actual hardcore players beat Gordias quickly (not the same day, but still quickly), leaving the rest of the raiding scene struggling.
They had no content to do. Actual no content. Not this, "I don't like it, therefore I won't do it" mentality of no content.
i did use this word because the point bring don't work... some are even not really update... more release of content put on hold (like the residential area)
at the start of the discution between us, i was pointing that the patch content was lacking, mostly because the focus of this patch was not the right one the game was needing badly. and that still my point.
the ultimate coil was something that wasn't urgent as content... that my point, that something that was deserving even to be push to 4.3.... instead it was pushed in 4.1... even to the point that eureka was pushed back to 4.2.... what normally was the heart of this patch... eureka was the new content that did make the odd patch loose 1 dungeon... and this content don't come before 4.2.
why i'm not fond of ultimate, it's because that for a soo small part of the community, not many people will beat it, not even try to beat it... because like they have said it's extremly hard. focusing the developement on content that will serve only a niche in the community soo early in the extension is a bad move... and that the whole point and we are agreeing on this... the mixing up of the patch is bad... the game is unbalanced by the lack of content in some area that we deseperatly need.
we can't use the dungeon expert as real content that will keep player to play... a lot of people do story mode dungeon and don't touch savage... for multiple reason, not enough time, not enough skill, not enough friend for it. depending of the server it can be complicate to get into a raid... plus the mentality of some people can be draining and disguste people from raiding... the good example are the extrem where at the first wipe (some time on small mistake that people will probably never redone) lead to a group disband.
right now the community is a mess... the toxic level of some people reach... some dangerous states. i was raiding in the v2... but with heavenward i didn't touch it and stormblood i did try... really... but... it's not fun to spend time to find people for get one try and disband and return to find people.... most of it because... people want easy win.... mostly because we lack content that force people to change them mind about difficulty..
that why i ask content at 4 challenging and rewarding, for force player to try harder, to get skill, to change mentality.
don't get me wrong, i know everything i say will have no impact, but i say it... not in the hope to see it next patch, but for the next expansion, for make them realize that focus only on raid, pvp is not a solution, we really need a true activity that can rivalize with both. bring back group in middle of the this... and even bring hamlet back... upgrade it and make the community of the server work together one more time...
ps: is not because people are happy with what bring 4.1 that it don't means it don't lack on some point. i don't say it's a bad patch, i say it lack some stuff... and that some add was not urgent and was maybe needed later...
