If I own a fancy car, or had a large house renovated for a substantial sum, it may be overpriced to another, but it is not overpriced to the user who paid for it. Simply because if it was overpriced, I would not have bought it.
If u really want an objective value of what overpriced is, that is when you find a value that nobody in the market is willing to pay a price for. That is when the value of an item does not equate to any satisfaction derived out of the payment. Before that point is reached, all this constant cries about items are overpriced are pointless because every value before the critical price (where nobody is willing pay) is purely subjective.
When that critical objective price is reached and nobody is paying for the item, SE will be definitely do something.
