PS4 USERS STORMBLOOD PREORDERS CANCELLED BY PSN?

Hello,

I'm trying to find out information as to why the PS4 pre-orders of STORMBLOOD are being cancelled and being asked to pay an additional 39.99 or 59.99 after the first transaction was taken out already. Will the first transaction be refunded? or will it cost PS4 users to spend 120 dollars on a 59.99 game?

I also had this same issue this morning. I reached out to Sony support and they told me a supervisor has confirmed there is an issue with the licensing and they from their end they still see the pre order in my account though according to the PSN store it is asking me to repurchase the expac. I posted a similar thread in the general forums. I am hoping if enough people have this issue and reach out to Sony they will fix this before expac.

It's weird for me, when I check psn store the collectors edition wants me to pay but I've already bought it.

The regular edition won't even show price or let me purschase.

However when I go to settings, them themes, it's shows stormblood will be about to be downloaded in 2 more days, I hope we ain't getting screwed.

I hope so too. Whats odd is if I log into the PSN store through PC and go to my downloads queue I see Stormblood. It says error downloading but that most likely due to it not being available yet. I really hope this doesnt mess up early access

I am having this same issue it shows my pre order of the special addition in my service list but as with you guys I goto see the so helpful timer and it says buy for$59.99 and when I go to standard it says it is no longer available for purchase? I am so exited for early access and will be very disappointed if I do not get to play. I hope its just something with pen and the drop of the ps3 fingers crossed it is resolve before Friday 3 A.M. for me XD

Well after talking with playstation and them refunding the money/ having me purchase it again and it still not showing that i ever purchased it aside from getting a email notification they said not to worry that it will still download etc. however i told them if it has not downloaded as the clock says 1 day 14 hours till playable i'll be giving them a call back as well as a ton of psn users.

how do I contact Sony to ask about this? I can see my Stormblood preorder in my service list but, when I look at the game it says I have to purchase the collectors edition again, and that I cant buy the standard version

Same issue. Scrolling through Playstation Store and noticed Stormblood Collector's Edition no longer said "Purchased" and the standard edition was no longer available. I checked my library and no SB. Checked my downloads and only saw the SB theme waiting to be downloaded a day from now.

Update on situation : Just talked to sony they said everyone is good that we are good to go on our end that its a issue with psn on their end that they are working to resolve. should be good to go by tonight however if it still is not showing call Playstation ( or go on their chat) for a update of the situation.

Good to hear, i kinda wouldn't be shocked if we can just hit download friday but good they are replying, i cant get in touch with them atm

Do people who pre order the PS4 version from the Square Enix store still get the PRe order bonus for the theme though? A friend of mine pre ordered it from there. It shows that she has the STormblood early access and early access tracker, but it does not show she has the STormblood Pre Order. Her theme has not installed yet, but most are saying it comes automatically

yeah apparently if you go into your themes there is a countdown timer for it should download sometime tomorrow or such if anything

I think the problem is that it does not show for her either, but her early access does show, though the pre order does not.

Thats odd, id suggest restoring licences then looking in her themes to see if its there. if not call sony or wait and see if they fix it by tonight

Here's something a lot of people don't realize if you log into psn from a browser and go to your purchase history you'll see a realm reborn if you click on it your Stormblood stuff will show up there.

It will likely show " Pre-order payment failed"

I'm having the same issue. But a point I'd like to ask is for you guys does it show early access for ps4 stormblood on your mog station account? Because mine doesn't and I just want to check that its not just me.

If you're on PS4, it doesn't show on Mogstation. It will show on services for your PS4.

Basically this is the gist of conversation with sony on this topic -

Me: Normally the queue should say waiting for a pre-order which it isnt on this item

Ingo: In this specific situation is very recomendable for us to wait later and be sure to restore licenses again and be sure that the account is activated as primary.

I think you only get the PS4 theme if you ordered through the PS4 not from SE.

Mine is a different issue, I only recently started playing FFXIV and now I wanted to purchase Heavensward, but it keeps saying that I can't view content, and now it says that I have FFXIV Online: Standard Edition instead of A Realm Reborn o.O. I was so scared

oh good I'm glade more of us are seeing this issue ill be sure to check mine tomorrow and see if it is resolved I sure hope it is.

I am having the same problem .. and I wanted answers so I went to talk to sony and of course the live chat is closed ... weird yes so anyone got any answers yet.

Logged in today on my PC and all the fails in my download queue were gone, loaded up the page on my phone and it shows it in my download list, refreshed both my PC and phone and now I have: Final Fantasy: Stormblood Zenos Avatar - Download Error. I click retry and it says my PS4 is not on but I am playing the game right now. I'm going to wait a little more before I contact Sony and ask what is really going on.

Well after another hour of talking with sony i got them to escalate the issue to some higher-ups. i'll post the results here when i hear back from them on it. Apparently from what the rep told me its a issue where the license isn't being added to the account after purchasing the game. so we'll see what happens. Im trying to get this resolved not just for myself but for EVERYONE that pre-ordered the game so we can all get in for early access

Having the exact "payment failed" issue...
Pretty stressed now as I think the download will be available tomorrow...

From what they told me they are working on a fix with square so hopefully they will get it fixed. i'll likely contact them again before the end of the day for a update

I'm just not seeing it in my download queue or library at all, but the transaction looks fine. PS4 people said it's normal and it will be available on the 15th for download.
Had a similar thing with HW, couldn't pre-order it in AU store until literally the day access started. I'm expecting a last-minute rush this time as well.

They informed me that I do own the game but that it is an issue with the psn network a bit of a concern for me is that at buying the game I was informed it will download today (the 13th) and be playable on early access (the 15th or 16th depending on where you are) this is not the case anymore. It will now download the day of early access.... -_- anyways I would say to contact Sony and have them verify you still have the game. Best of luck everyone and see you in STORMBLOOD!!!!

Same deal, they say we apparently should be able to download tonight that its showing everyone purchased it and has it avalible for download tonight however it for some reason or other wont show on our side and will just take your back to the purchase page. but they say we should be good to go for early access

You guys need to be checking your services list. Go to Settings > Account information > Services. Then find FFXIV. Select it and you should have a list of services for that game. Mine has Stormblood early access, Stormblood Pre-order, Stormblood access, and Stormblood tracker.

Also if I try to install the theme it takes me to the Stormblood tracker which it says is scheduled to be available for download at midnight.

Ahh, see i was looking directly for the stormblood icon and such. odd as hell that it shows a icon for ARR and HW but lists everything under ARR for me including the SB stuff

No problem i ended up finding it tho it was strangely separated into two different things Heavensward ( which it wasnt under) and A Realm Reborn which is where it ended up being located at
