There are other reasons besides "realistic" reasoning as to why chocobo's arent summonable in the past, maybe because the devs wanted to imply additional incentive for players to use sigil. Unlike the person I was talking to, you are actually trying to make sense rather than just saying stupid one liners. Bashing? Perhaps, but the previous person was merely trying to turn down the idea for absolutely no reason, albeit the sake of turning it down.

I never used the word realistic for a reason. Because it's a game, one that has fantasy right in it's name. "Realism" has absolutely nothing to do with it, or we wouldn't be able to travel to the past in the first place, and wouldn't be arguing about something so idiotic. This is where i asked for a "legitimate" reason for there not to be chocobo whistles in the past. How is it game breaking? How does it change anything other than it being a mild convenience?

Additional incentive for players to use sigil? I'm sorry, I'm not following you here. What does Sigil have to do with riding a chocobo? My current understanding is based upon the fact that there's is currently no plausible game-based reason that it is disallowed, hence the request for a legitimate reason, which no one has come up with. You're basically telling me to stop asking, because I don't know. Isn't that the basis of needing to ask? Not knowing (not that there is anything else to know)?
