I get the same feeling waiting for the massive updates as I do waiting for a new console. I can't wait to see it all in more detail.

I can really only think of two needed upgrades/replacements:
- Joyeuse - particularly for COR, which can't use magian daggers or swords.. or just give some other oatwice+ melee weapon to Corsairs.
- Thief knife - since th+1 is not on any other weapon, 27 damage is very lacking nowadays even for offhand, and swapping weapons after applying TH is annoying because of TP loss.


I don't necessarily think the old gear has to be upgradable... rather new gear that fills the same niche that the old stuff did would be nice. Most things mentioned in this thread already have their niches filled (or are still overpowered in their own right).

One thing I was really disappointed to see (or more accurately, not see) in December was the CoP rings updated to be 2~6. Seems silly with the way they're designed to not be incremented again at 90.
