Though it could easily be a ZNM system. Trade KC/HKC for Pop item, Go pop NM. SE mentioned wanting to have multiple of the same forced-pop NM Up at a time, It may have been because of this system.
it talks about "fields"...so maybe they are not like bc where you fight 1 opponent but more like nyzul where you travel and fight hordes of mob and a boss. 18 ppl for a single monster its too much :P

with the VNM you have to pop those by yourself because they cannot breach the dimension they live to come to ours...those new monster seems strongh enough to do it by themselfes

i thougt the Void was Abyssea. but maybe is something totally different ^^
hope it brings a new story too...and not just some cut like abyssea ;_;
