Have you considered just NOT having them? 30 hours of effort for a brand new, cutting edge weapon is perfectly reasonable. Before they lifted the once per day restriction on Dynamis and Salvage, relics and mythics were a multi-month effort for the currency portion.

It's weird that you talk about this as some onerous new work assignment. It's a video game -- a leisure activity. If you want Prime weapons and are willing to put in the effort, go for it. If the time commitment is too much for you, there are still relics, mythics, empyreans, aeonics, those Ambuscade weapons, and a host of other decent weapons. Why would you feel the need to go for a Prime weapon on something you've been playing forever anyway? I've got an R15 Spharai on my MNK and subsequently have no interest in any other weapon for it.
