They could always just pick a random seldom used zone, add yell support and put a free to use hp there. Maybe rabao or Norg or something.

Not trying to harp on you bub but you might of missed a few posts here on some to maybe quite a few players not wanting to see it shouted, /yelled or blasted about items there selling which is up for sale and I don't know about you but i'd only want to know when i'm only searching for it and not all of the time, especially when you're possibly busy doing other stuff in the game or to some folk's if you use that method it will seem like your trying force your wares onto them into buying it but i'm definitely not saying i'm one of those types that do think that way but it's just from my in game experience from folks over the years into it.

Here's my issue with the current system. It forces the player to "AFK" in the game to sell unwanted items that can't be put on auction. With an auction limit of 7 and the amount of valuable and popular items that are bazaar only, this is the reality, which is part of the problem in port/lower Jeuno. It also keeps people logged in when they don't want to be. Why should I have to keep my PC running during the night in order to sell wares in a game? It's stupid, and quite frankly, it's pretty ridiculous that the devs have not done something to correct this problem sooner.
The way they categorize how items can be sold is just so freaking random and stupid that it's beyond comprehension. Here's an example. I was farming some items in Movapolos, and had some Moblin Sheepskins drop. When I got back to Jeuno, I tried to list them on the AH... nope, cant. Tried to NPC them... nope, cant. Checked what use they had... nothing other than crafting items. So I ask you SE.... WHY THE RESTRICTIONS? It makes NO SENSE AT ALL.
Just let us sell every damn thing on the auction house. Or at least, for the love of God, give us a GOOD reason why you have chosen to implement the economy in this way.
I'm not even sure what you think you are saying. If you make a zone for bazaar and don't allow /yell support, people who want to advertise wears will do 1 or 2 things.
1) Not use it
2) Shout from some other supported zone
Net gain - zero.
And they have a feature that turns off yells if you don't like them but for some reason feel like you have to read all of them.

Well if it's done like an auction house method you can walk right up the building structure click and see whats up onto selling/waiting to be sold without having to do the additional /yell or shout but it could be done in better methods too then a shout feature to display whats going on into being sold but we really have to work on coming up with some logical, scenario player based ideas into making this work for everyone in the game and not just a majority of them.
Yes you could turn shouting off but at the same time you could be missing out on those same shouts for the particular battlefield you wanna join since you may be or may not be one of the players that don't have~(A: an helpful ls into doing stuff, {B; Are solo in this game without an ls or even friends to help out, {c. hmm.. forgotten dang it}.
While I don't mind the bazaar yelling or shouting as much as some players do to the point they will just B-list those that do and say there to annoying which I don't entirely get why they wanna be like that but they do it and you would be permanently on it for small measure of reasons too but yet ridiculous.
Okaaay!! now i'm really getting off topic but more interested in other methods not yet implemented into the game that we all could be presenting the items for sale while not necessarily using whats all ready in the game. I know we have some heavy thinkers who wouldn't take the laid back, relaxed approach into creating something we want to see developed into the game somewhere here on the forums. oh Myself, I don't actually read all of the shouts but then there are those that do it to which I was thinking of and referring to as well
Okay, next persons post will fully be back on topic, well I hope anyways!!

I just don't see how ignoring the guy shouting for a relic rng for marjarmi delve is any different from ignoring the guy yelling to sell bynes in PJ. It's all just text that doesn't interest you. It's not like it's in some special color that hurts your eyes when people sell stuff. I mean one guy shouted for a PLD for Marjarmi for 3+ hours tonight. It doesn't really matter to me if he shouts for PLD or if he's selling T.whiteshells because I'm not interested in either.
If you tell that guy that he has to pay taxes or w/e to sell his items in a zone that has yell support, he's just gonna yell in that zone and then go somewhere else to sell them. People used to do it for years in jeuno. Shout and then just trade you to avoid bazaar tax when you respond.
Seriously. Make any zone you want into a /yell free bazaar zone and someone will park a mule in PJ and shout all day anyways.

The exchange zone is a great idea. There's something like it in everquest called the bazaar. Someone mentioned a search function, EQ has that for their bazaars, and its great. Another thing they have that we really need is sort of a reverse bazaar, set up a buyer bazaar where you put what items you're buying, at what price, and at what level of gil you stop buying.
