FINAL FANTASY XI has been in service for eleven years now, and considering how long it has been running, if we were to implement a veteran reward system, the time periods for receiving rewards would likely be very long. If the system were retroactive, it would be unfortunate that new players could not receive rewards for subscribing for something like eleven years.

On the other hand, if we chose rewards that considered the difference between the types of people that are playing currently, the reward would only be trivial and would only count for the time moving forward from now. I believe this isn’t really what everyone is looking for in a veteran reward system.

With the above in mind, we feel that continuous login campaigns and periodic adventure appreciation campaigns are more suiting for FINAL FANTASY XI.
