So is selling FC spots illegal?

I've seen this on the forum before, but it's just getting so hard to get money nowadays. I don't wanna run the risk of getting banned, but I don't wanna be so poor I can't afford proper stuff for my alts. (I refuse to play SoA as well too :/)

Can a dev please answer this question please?

some people get banned just for being traded large amounts of gil or too much gil at once.. SE can filter that as being an RMT so i'd be careful. They also link RMT to selling spots in exp party so yeah.

I love how just a small group of people ruin it for everyone, I need ingame money super bad but tbh I can't think of any other way besides trying to FC with my BLU. But if it's illegal then why doesn't SE do something game-mechanics wise and make it impossible?

Why don't you read the money making article in my Guide titled "Earning your wages Lvl 99" it's the 3rd article.

Is Bluemage the only job you have?

Edit 2: I would imagine FC for exping, skillup was the original idea oppose to FCing for gil.

You can probably make some decent gil CW burning without even charging people for spots by npcing stuff you find in gold chest.
@Daemon= I noticed you don't have Blue mage listed under you guide. Probably be a good idea too add it as another example. Unless I missed something I was under the impression that Blu could achieve a higher level of Treasure hunter than Bst by setting the job trait and wearing a tarutaru sash with th+1 on it. And Blus superior kill speed combined with better crowd control options make it a better choice for farming than Bst. (Imo) If anything it's another option for some people.

Yeah between FCing gold chest for ingots, adaman, orichalcum etc, Boss KI's sell well too , Blue can also do well in WoE, which mainly where all players can earn most of their gil.

I only left a basic gil farming guide which anyone can earn up to 5mil in 1 day, generally for all jobs. Morta Riftcinder on my server is 2.5mil+ atm, Beastly shank 1mil, flume belt is 3mil. So there is my example of how it's possible to earn up to 5mil in one day and I didn't even include Dyna, limbus, devious die and liminal residue along with other possible drops.

    Short answer: No.

Longer answer: As long as you're not one of the RMT-kind, or supporting their businesseses, you should be fine. Can't really put it better than Okipuit did some time back, as seen below.

YAY! I don't have to worry now right? I'm going to start practicing because I have a Magavan body I want to buy, MAB+7 and all. (I'm also going to make a full DEX set to charge up my whiskers further, thank you so much for posting this.)

Well I'd still be careful. I mean what if RMT was selling a spot in FC party and that person did not know the FCer was in fact RMT? Would that not be affiliating with RMT activity? I've read many posts on other sites of players complaining that they got the ban hammer for joining FC party. And they had nothing to do with RMT. Yet they might have paid gil to FCer who was affiliated with RMT activity without even knowing it.

Please be aware that advertising in such a manner in itself can be disrupting to other players and we may take action against players who continuously advertise for the above kind of parties.
