well when they say "wensday evening" that automatically translates to " Available after 6pm PST at earliest. which equals late as heck for the rest of the world.

The All Worlds maintenance which was scheduled to take place from 10:00 to 13:00 on Mar. 26, 2013 (PDT) has been rescheduled and will now take place at the following time. Please note that "FINAL FANTASY XI: Seekers of Adoulin" content will not be available at the end of this maintenance period.

They're doing basically the same thing they did in ToAU- turning it on at a certain time while the game is running- they sent a system message when it was "turned on."
