Well I'm not attached to DRK enough to care but I agree with the OP sentiment. Personally, I never care for potency and activities that I enjoyed for years being wiped out for any reason. But if they feel they have to, or can't come up with a more appealing solution, what bothers me most is that's really all that's happened as far as changes lately.

For example, the director's claim when discussing the Embrava nerf was that he wanted to give SCH something else to contribute with in its place. I would be much less bitter about losing Embrava if there were even one advancement to go along with it. Granted the full nerf hasn't gone through to every event yet, but all I've seen for a suggested boon is something that might make me want to cast earth spells a little more, and will probably take years to implement.

If SE is trying to keep people in a game that relies entirely on constant progression, they really can't just keep regressing things. It seems like the director is scrambling to fix a bunch of imbalances, forgetting that I'm playing a game to grow my character.

Completely agree with this, the new director has gotten off to such a bad start, nerfs all round, updates from last year pushed waaay back and not a word on them since, and not a single thing to make up for them. they nerf PD, push back cait sith but they haven't given smn a single positive update since T5 nukes on spirits... They nerf embrava but don't give anything new to make up for it, they nerf twilight scythe and haven't offered anything to make drk more useful in other aspects, they make defence more important and remove level correction for mobs making berserk and last resort more dangerous to use, but no damage increase in return for this added danger. All they are doing is killing our jobs and not giving anything new and fun to keep us interested to make up for it.

This is why I don't like MMOs and will probably never pick up another one unless it's fun as hell.
