Ok now that they've came out and said it let's see here...to be order to stand a bit of a chance at legion:

I'm gonna need 60 slots of inventory for gear. Per job. Along with about 3 macro sets for switching in/out gear for when i'm about to get blown to bits magically/physically, instant deathally(awesome new word now that I think about it), or in case i just feel like i dunno, WSing maybe.

To get one piece of said situational gear (assuming AF3+2 is done) I'm going to have to:

    Do 200~infinity VWs

Make a weapon that costs at least 100mil. Oh and if it's not Ragnarok...well you better just go ahead and make it Ragnarok.

Upgrade said weapon for roughly x4 the original amount (correct me if I'm wrong here) to 99.

Take a couple weeks to get the sets for and do the +'s of Limbus and Ein to get a CHANCE at getting that gear. Gear's not all that great accept for the ONE STAT. But at least my umpteen gear sets will be awesome.

Then, after all that's done, get on my knees and pray for the couple of weeks I do Neo-Nyzul so I don't get fcked by floor jumps.

Now I'm ready to do Legion! Oh but wait.

You need to find 17 more people who did all of the above. Hope they have the right jobs.

Ya know, when you actually make the list of it, it doesn't all seem that bad..

The worst part is that nothing is ever a straight upgrade anymore (meaning you still have to carry that old gear) and our inventory space is pitifully low considering what we have to carry to be effective players. Even if the game is supposed to be a hard gear grind, you'd expect us to at least have either gear that doesn't require as many macros as a reward, or more space so our super situational super gear isn't killing us right?

We're tied down by the 80 slot "PS2 limitation", tied down by the limited amount of Mog House space we have, and tied down by gear never replacing old gear, just being slightly better at one thing.

Even if we can say "whatever, gear grind" why do we have to put up with something so stupidly painful as our inventory situation?

They're releasing Seekers of Adoulin for the the PS2 only in Japan. If that tells you anything.
