Personally, if it is to prove just how quick glanced the content development is I would much rather delay up coming content to show that current content is beyond a reasonable scope of accomplishment. This way it would make them stop and look over the content more thoroughly so it doesn't have to be revisited as an after thought. Their track record of having to go back and fix something so far is pretty indicative that they aren't spending enough time on it before releasing and obviously the test server isn't giving them enough data to work with either (not that the test server even has the full scope of the data to test in the first place).
