    i wonder, why everyone is assuming that we'll have to go through the current +1 system to get +2's? they could change it so the current +1's will go to +3, and the new nq's go to +2..

    seemed like they wanted to be rid of the old system

    Why? The CoP dynamis change made it significantly easier to obtain -1 pieces. There's very little point in making a +2 system that ignores the +1s.

    However, if they just added "Augments" along the lines of Abjuration gear, then there would be an intrinsic value to having the +1 AF2 as those augments cap higher on HQ gear.

    i think we all voted no augments. i'd just like to see the whole +1 system revised. the 1 week wait needs to go, the coin requirement is a bit steep, and not uniform, if they make everything equal, and allow us to complete it at the same speed we can do af3, i think that'd be balanced.

    on the other subject, i thought, that when relic upgrades were announced, they wanted to upgrade relics to a new level, and do something special for those that are +1 currently. (like having different trials for nq/+1 going through the magian moogle)

    I don't know if "everyone" is assuming it.
    As for me I was assuming it because it seemed the most logical and coherent thing to do.
    It would revamp the current content i.e. it would make people want to farm for those -1. If they don't do it the majority of people will keep doing what they're doin now: i.e. ignoring them.
    Instead it would be beneficial for them, because it would be yet another time-sink to keep players busy with, and they wouldn't have to do anything to achieve that.

    Sounds beneficial for them under all points of view, at least as far as I can tell.


    Doing things the way you suggested (which might as well be what will happen in the end, who knows) would mean they would have to work more.

    Herp, Dusk Gloves +1 are +6 attack. My bad . I have both HQ'd, so it doesn't really matter to me either way if they change this. Whitebox is Whitebox.

    That's 2% from cap, there's little or no reason to be TPing if Iga Tekko if that's what you're getting at. It'd make more sense to throw Okotes back on for what NIN is doing. And for those people who keep up with gear should be back to using augmented Haidates. 4% haste puts you exactly at the haste cap in that setup.
