    There's a difference between "Dev" responses and "GM responses because the thread has been reported a bunch", lol.

    Free buff? I'll take it. Don't necessarily need it (Dusk+1 is the same haste with more attack, less fStr, and no NTE for daytime) , but I'll take it if they go that route.

    I'm expecting this to happen with the relic +2 upgrade/augment that might happen. They talked about further upgrading relic armor in another thread that devs responded to. We'll see what it actually comes out to, but I'm hoping they remove the dusk to dawn thing too.

    I wouldnt mind having the night time effect permantly. But i guess many non nin player would be against getting nin such a powerfull equipment. Even if not, iam very worried about the many lolnin which runs around the servers, it would probaly increase even farther with such an equipment.

    I can only hope like ThaiChi mentioned. Maybe we are lucky and get a form of upgrade via the new relic +2. Other question here is how hard it will be to become so then -.-.

    12 str, 4% haste arround the clock isnt too OP compared to other jobs options.

    I think it's a great idea, and I wouldn't really class them powerful considering I'd only use them for Utsusemi etc.

    Tbh it doesn't really seem that "powerful" to me.
    I mean sure, it would be an awesome piece, but not up to the point of being gamebreaking, or being particularly better than many other items added recently.
    Look at many AF3+2 pieces, look at some of those VW bodies, a permanent Koga Tekko wouldn't really be that much above some of those, would it? Actually, I think it would be behind a few of such pieces.

    I'm pretty confident that's going to happen with the Relic +2 patch coming out soon, they clearly stated they wanted to update Relic armor so that its power would have been comparable to that of AF3+2.

    hell, look at Black Belt. Haste +12 and Str+7. thats been over powers for years, and no one complains. they just go after it. is what i am hoping is that the AF2+1 gets a better stat bonus than NQ AF2 upgrades. like for koga tekko...

    There already are AF2+1 in-game, and for the majority of the pieces it's a very minor and negligible upgrade (there are a few exceptions hey!).
    But after all it's just 1 level higher, can't expect too much.
    Don't even think we should expect them to rework the AF2+1 stats. If anything they could reduce the conditions required to attain them (no more additional ingredients, less coins, 1 day wait instead of 1 week, stuff like this).
    AF2+2 will be several levels higher most likely, I suppose level 90+? We can expect some really nice pieces, at least for situational gearswaps during certain JAs/Spells.

    For example a lot of AF2 pieces have "enhances JA/spell" bonus. The +1 version doesn't enhance that.
    I expect the +2 to do it. Like RDM hat +2 could be 2mp/tic refresh, and stuff like that basically.
    I can see a lot of dynamis coming for all of us if those upgrades will be even half as good as I'm imagining them to be :P
