I really like this idea. ^_^ Actually, it's a subject I've brought up with my sis (another FF fan).
Overall, I have to say I've had my issues with FFX-2 but one of it's more fun aspects was the fact that the costumes looked so fun.
I think it would really add to the immersion in the game if players had a costumes/casual clothes type of thing. Maybe even an inventory bag of its own.
While we're at it- is it possible to throw in a jump and swim button as well? I realize that I'm asking for a lot here but Vana d'iel is a beautiful, vast, world and it saddens me that we, the players, have such little interaction with it. Maybe I may post this as its own thread in a bit, but for now, just adding my own two cents. =D
Great idea! Now i can fulltime my Wicca panties. ;D
This is a great idea! Besides possibly solving the blinking issue, which is incredibly annoying for certain jobs, a costume slot would add another layer of diversity to character appearances. I think a lot of players are really pushing for the game to have more character design features like XIV, so it's definitely something to look into.
"He who slings mud generally loses ground."
I see this always comes down to ps2 limitations and if so. Ps2, the reason we can't have nice things.
There aren't many suggestion threads where PS2 doesn't get a mention, lol.
Spiral Knights does this and it's awesome. I'm all for overlaying my gear with set armor of my choice.
I've never tried that game but it looks fun, if it wasn't in closed beta I would give it a try, would be a nice way to pass this downtime. If it's not still in beta let me know, I might have just been looking at really out of date information, lol.
Would be nice if SE just banned Ps2 users.
