My best offer of advice would be to create a mule or two to help get more items on AH, or decide that your 2k isn't worth putting on AH and waiting for the money to come back and just NPC it.
Except not everyone NPCs Abyssea stuff for money... That might be fine and dandy for endgame people who run Abyssea constantly, but that's not the case for everyone.
