You claim I have a bad attitude, but again, all I've been doing is calling out the fallacies in your arguments. My attitude is just fine. I log onto FFXI to play with friends, and I have fun doing so. I'm a competent, efficient player, and I use my gear to its fullest. Again, learn to appreciate other people's views, because your accusations have absolutely no base and will never hold through.

I mean no disrespect, but I can't stand people so dense and stubborn to admit that they are wrong. You are wrong to say player skill is everything. It's a large contribution, but gear augments your skill. You can't do a lot of things without the right gear/gear swaps.

Many of us play to have fun, and dying over and over again isn't always a blast.

umm cuz in actuallity gear has little meaning. I mnk/dnc tanked in cheap level 50 gear and cheap hand 2 hand @ 75. Didn't die. @ 75 I solo an IT fly in caedaver mire as mnk/nin just from a well timed 100 fists, Only to kill my fly befor landing the final blow on the parties fly. And our whm (my b/f) didn;t need to cure me more then once. And my gear was not the greatest. Gear only slightly enchances your skills and you need to stack it to really see a difference.

I insulted no one yet was insulted by 3 people. Yet you guys question my posts look at yours as well. I type to others on how they typed to me first. nope gear swaping got big after wing was out. I've been playing since ps2 days. And the first sightings I seen on my server was aroung whitegate areas. Then it got bigger when wings was out. Now it is enforced to no end. And giving people poor attitudes like the onews mocking me,

Yet they refuse to see how silly they are or childish. effeincy =/= fun or being good. Just because a person swaps gear don;t make them good or better then those who do not swap gear. And that was the point I was trying to make. It isn't wise to insult a person for not gear swaping. It is strictly player choice. And if you think I'm bad just for having this opinion, that just proves the childish point. No one here seen me play. So how can you say I'm a medicore player just for not buying into gear swaing. God forbid any under-geared MNK gets kills with his 2hr and shadows to protect them. Your examples are so full of holes, I swear. Keep trying, seriously. I just dare you to give me a convincing argument that doesn't:
a) tell me to grow up
b) insult me
c) say I'm being "one sided"
d) make up "facts" [e.g; gear swaps have been in this game forever, not for "2.5 years or so"]
