Effects of ping/latency on animation lock and ability to perform rotations normally.

Ping and animation lock is an issue particularly for certain skills on BRD. Double weaving is an issue sometimes skills don’t go off or I clip have no way to fix it so it’s just whatever.

I've felt this a lot today with the game just eating every other pitch perfect button press.

Yeah, I think all ranged physical DPS suffer pretty heavily from this in one way or another - DNC struggles during the opener and every burst window, while MCH can't even single-weave Gauss Round/Ricochet between Heat Blasts consistently. It's rough.

Thank you for taking up the mantle and putting in the work to hopefully get this resolved. While I'm fortunate enough to have a low enough ping so this bug does not affect me, I'm sure there's 10.000's out there who are struggling with this.

No news yet. The bug has neither been moved to "Confirmed/Planning to Address" nor to "Working as Intended", and I haven't received any further support desk notices ingame so far.

I'm posting in support of this. I don't have much more to contribute, the first page is full of good information. But I also know that YoshiP doesn't see these threads unless they make it onto his weekly report, and I believe that is driven by number of comments. So here's my comment.

Quick and easy fix: Implement NoClippy in the game.
It'll benefit literally ALL players.
But we all know that Sqenix will never get out of their superiority throne to implement a fix that players made.
Sqenix will never even consider trying out a 3rd plugin just to see how broken their game is and how this simple plugin solves it.

Ah, not quite, I think that's a byproduct of how thread IDs change when they get moved to another subforum.
