Disconnects occurring only duirng PVP

Recently multiple players (including myself) have disconnected at random points during Shatter matches. Just minutes ago, 8-10 people across our parties DCed all around the same time in a match. We logged back in just to die from being isolated.

I've been noticing this happening over the last 3-4 days in multiple matches. None of the affected people I talked to have problems with DCs outside pvp. Anyone have insight into this?

This has happened to me too while playing Shatter. Up to 4 times i've been disconected from the instance with errors 90001 and 90002 in the past 3 days. Other times i've played with no problems.

Happened to me every single shatter match tonight. I DC'd 4 times and the game outright crashed 2 times and the lag was ridiculous. Same thing happened for the teams I was on as well so it wasn't just me. We literally just had everyone Dc again....

Just happened again. 4 of us DCed when we were tied with Adder at 800+ points. Obviously that gifted them the match. Every single time it is about 2/3 of the way into the match and only if we're in a position to win. I can't see tell if the other GCs are also having disconnects. Being overly paranoid would suggest cheating but at this point I just want to know why this only happens in shatter.

Sudden DC in PVP is actually quite common and has been for a while. Idk if their PVP servers are inferior quality to their PVE ones or what but this has been an annoyance since frontline's introduction.

Well, today in the morning I played Shatter. No disconnection. No problem. When it's 6:00pm to 11:30pm Easten time, Faerie server, 3 Shatter games, constant 90001, 90002 and 10105. I also noticed that at this time there's constant lag with 30 second delay even out of PVP instances. I've restarted my router, tested the connection with other sites and no problems. When testing FFXIV and this problem continues. I'm no tech expert but if there is a relation between the two it needs to be addressed.

I haven't had a problem myself, but I have seen more DC's in Feast than I remember seeing in the past. In the last two days I've seen two DC's on my team and one on the enemy team, so it does seem more frequent than normal. I don't know if this is an actual problem or just a coincidence, though.

Regardless, if any of you are seeing this enough to think that it is a legitimate problem, then you should probably head over to the tech support forums and post the details. They have a sticky which will tell you the guidelines for how to format your report, and other players can reply as a means of adding additional reports. If SE suspects that there is, in fact, a problem, then they'll move the thread to the being addressed/currently reviewing forum and you'll at least know if they're looking into it or doing something about it.

I was in a shatter match yesterday where 4 people in my party (including myself) dc'd. It's pretty bad and does seem isolated to PvP.

I've had random crashes, dc and lag like crazy after shatter was introduced. iirc it only happens in shatter. No other pve or pvp content, except for some random crashes while I'm returning from prolonged afk.

Today the lag was really bad. Resetting the game helped, but the lag returned every time.

Was this ever sorted and fixed? I've even tried re-installing my game and I STILL get booted for seemingly no reason. People have told me to avoid using mounts, avoid using certain mounts, staying out of 'the big crowd' and defending instead. It seems to only happen in frontlines, all 3 frontlines. I've never had this issue in Feast.

Should I buy a pay as I go vpn? Does anyone know if a vpn would solve this? I have NO issues with ANY other zones in this game, JUST frontlines. My load screens are fast so if not for expac launch and a 40-60 queue each time I log on, I would get back in alright but this queue is getting me auto booted.

Edit: pay as i go vpn seemed to have totally fixed the issue, mudfish is good and cheap.
