I have updated the text according to what you've said Snootles, this one is better resolution aswell, uploaded by imgur.

What I've seen as well from your data snootles is that several of the food evens out each other, Plums seems to have brought people back a color several times after feeding berries, pineapple and apple, which seems kinda odd. Can it be that plums evens out all 3 of those fruits?

You also said I missed to add something from your data, I only found the morbol green one, can you pinpoint me to which others I'm missing?

Also heads up, I'm going on holiday on Friday for 10 days so I wont be able to do any updates for 10 days after Friday.

Here has been my leveling path so far. I'm planning to get some kind of grey, but atm just having fun with it and testing out directions

So, question, how/why are there colors on the chart that seem to not have been reached? For example, Orchard Brown and Qiqirin Brown, which only have paths leading away from them and not to them.

Because people have been mass feeding mixed fruits or 1 fruit and didn't know what to look for. So they landed on a colour but have no idea how they got there.

While I can't tell you if Boomerz's approach is correct, I can say that it is a step in the right direction. From a programmer's perspective (me): while the spreadsheets and charts might be useful for most people to see and predict how they go from one color to another, it would make almost no sense to write code which WORKED in this fashion. It would be obscure, and frankly a coding clusterf***. While it is easier to SEE it as walking a color tree, there is a SYSTEM in place. A mathematical formula which determines what color you arrive at, we just haven't figured it out yet. But this theory seems extremely promising.

I don't know, well no one knows 100% obviously. But to me that sounds like overcomplicating it.
Set a simple straight forward line with presets, add RNG and they're done.

Then again, I am no programmer whatsoever. So that's why I hope my spreadsheet can help someone to actually figure it out.

Until then, I am sticking with the KISS theory (Keep It Simple, Stupid)

I'd agree with you if there wasn't so much evidence to back the mathematical theory. There's a separate thread going on with a few hundred pages backing the math theory. It took me about 30 minutes to make the spreadsheet that estimates the dye color based on fruits fed on a math basis. To me, that is the definition of KISS. That linear theory, to me, is super complicated!

I'll be doing more testing both ways to back up one of the two theories.

I can only find that you recorded reaching Goobbue grey, which is on there between Shale brown and Lavender Blue.

Did you manage to reach an other grey that I just missed?

Oh it is on there I didn't see it. I got to it from about four stages after Shale Brown brown though, not one.

My chocobo be crazy. I wasn't planning on posting here so I didn't keep close track, but he doesn't seem to be following any colour charts or logic so I thought I'd share. After seeing people get colour changes after <5 fruits I'm starting to wonder why mine is so damn greedy.

From the beginning (desert yellow, good stable condition for every feed, rank 10).
Fed plums until feather proc (stopped counting after 15) > Celeste Green
Fed plums until feather proc (stopped counting after 15) > Sky Blue
Fed berries until feather proc (13 berries) > Raptor Blue
Fed pears until proc, lost count (judging by how many pears I had left it was around 20) > Sky Blue
Fed pears, took 36 to get the proc message > Celeste Green

I was aiming for Morbol or Turquoise but he'll bankrupt me long before that at this rate, and all I got was this stupid loop. Think I'll just give up now.
