they currently have 50 pages worth of posts in that particular thread. At the time i was reading from page 1 and just reached the 32nd page of that thread. The complaints where pretty much the same so it was easy to remember. Even saw multiple posts that quoted 'shyt patch'

Let's allow Square Enix to publish at least one patch per month, before we get a little to over zealous and ask for little patches weekly haha. Their goal is to patch the game once per month, and we really haven't gotten a steady rate for patches yet. Once the game stabilizes for patch rates then ask away. Just my opinion. I don't think a patch per week would help the game, most of the patch content would be spent on bug fixes from the previous patches, and the new content would release new bugs and it would be an every ending cycle of us checking the dev posts for new stuff, and only seeing bug fixes and typo changes >.<

    "snail(auto)-attack" FINALLY someone said it.

There's nothing like paying for a game who's primary means of playing is waiting, and waiting, and waiting...

Imo this slower auto attack is ALOT better than the alternative^^ faster hits + lower tp per hit AND lower dmg. Last thing we need is another mmo where auto - attack makes up less than 10% of your dmg and your dmg is all but dependent on abilities. This also keeps it more strategic in building alot of great passives for auto like 11 and not having to have a specific mind numbing ability rotation that never changes... my thoughts anyways :P Would be nice to have a balance of FF 11's auto attack system where it mattered and had lots of options plus factors but also more like modern mmo's where you have more abilities to use in between (Which we already have tbh) and attack delay isn't quite as long!

The real difference comes in the fact that they're probably a whole lot more constructive overall, making proper use of dev tags, and posting in the proper feedback forums instead of shoving *everything* in General Discussion like all the BS in the English forums ._.

Wow, the jps are beyond any help at this point. Scary.

You may be happy with biweekly patches, but that would slow down their development immensely. Planning, testing and preparing everything separately instead of as a focused, effective effort. Especially when planning must sometimes take place months beforehand. Good luck coordinating that.

Dividing the large patches into two slowed them down too, but not as much.

It's easy to make a decision when you aren't taking everything into account.

As far as my opinion goes, they need to fix the game for the people paying for it as soon as possible and not cater to the tiny population that won't appreciate the extra work regardless.

Until our resident subligar wearer confirms this, I don't believe for a second that the JP forums are "raging".

Large bimonthly updates till the games core structure is solid enough to expand on.
Then monthly updates for content addition with semi weekly updates for smaller content and bug fixes.

In my opinion steady smaller patches is the better way to go about it. That way a relatively small number of things change so it's easier on the bug fixing side of things, easier to pinpoint a bug occurring in a specific system. They would have time to fix it and ship it out in one of the following updates. Also even if it's something small the community is always getting something new. So instead of people finishing things in 1 week and then going afk until the next huge patch you'll have something to keep them coming back more often at the very least just to see the changes.
