" don't you understand? They won't fix it. They don't know how/ don't care..."If you report a bug, they'll just close it after a couple of days if there are no more responses in the thread saying that issue looks fixed.
If you want to make a statement, get everyone to open a new thread for their issue in the tech forum. If the forum gets flooded with unique threads from a large group of people, they'll have to react somehow.

Curious to see how this will affect pvp?
Just wanted to bump this again since it pissed me off again last night.
Anyone trying to play melee and hit a moving target will likely get a "target not in range" message, while on top of the target. Additionally, people trying to LoS a spell someone is casting will probably get hit regardless. Some people will be able to cast instant spells while running, others will continue to utilize being able to move before your cast actually completes.
All just speculation really, but based on how skills work with mob encounters now, and being able to see the delay between when I take an action and when I see it on my boyfriend's screen.
Every video I see where someone complains about the lag I can usually immediately pinpoint that it's the player's ISP. Take for example the first video referenced in this thread:
http://www.twitch.tv/sunarierymshek/c/3084552
At the very beginning of the video you can notice that this player's screen is lagging like crazy. As his party runs down the ramp, you can literally see stuttering and even a fast forward effect. If you have a good ISP you should NEVER see a fast forward effect. The fast forward effect occurs when your ISP cannot download the data fast enough causing objects / players to freeze in place for a split second when in reality they are moving and once the lag ends the game fast forwards the characters into their correct current positions. I'm sorry, but i'm watching all of these videos and the players just all seem to have awful awful ISPs.
Uhm.. that's my video, and I don't lag. I was using a free to use streaming program to record the video through Twitch. -it- doesn't record the video smoothly (this is likely because I didn't spend any time actually setting it up). My ISP is absolutely fine. I get a little under 70MB/sec download and 5MB/sec upload. It's also worth noting that in past MMOs, I have experienced that whole thing you are talking about (when I did have a crappy net connection), and guess what? If I made it out of an AOE on time, as in the videos I posted.. I didn't get hit!Take for example the first video referenced in this thread:

I apologize then. Not looking to argue. I too have had the bad connection in the past (with the fast forward) which is what I saw when I watched your video. But if you're saying its your recording device then I don't know. In the very first 3 seconds it definitely looks like everyone fast forwards but as you say it's your recording device.Uhm.. that's my video, and I don't lag. I'm sensing a bit of sarcasm in your response. Here's a speedtest.net result I just did.I apologize then. Not looking to argue. Now, as far as specifically to SE? I don't know. I haven't bothered checking that because in all honesty I am not going to sit and fight with my ISP for hours on end to try and change the routing for one program. Aside from that, if you are going to claim lag as the cause of the issue, then why isn't the issue present in any other MMOs (not SE) to date? Lag doesn't cause it, it can aggravate it, and make it worse.. but it's not the cause.
And I apologize for being defensive, but I am getting very tired of people repeatedly blaming connections when that isn't the root cause.
Honestly no sarcasm. I really meant to apologize for my misinterpretation.I'm sensing a bit of sarcasm in your response. Here's a speedtest.net result I just did.
