Was this a true "GM" at all?

Hes got an outfit Ive never seen before, its unlike any GMs ive seen before. At first I only noticed him because of the GM icon and then the outfit caught my eye.
Ignore my sassy comments, I was hoping to egg him into talking. No luck, he didnt say a word. I doubt he even spoke any english.
Like everything else SE does in FFXIV, I have no idea what he was doing.
What kinda GM was this?

Again he is the hooded figure from the "Last word" post on load stone. He is a part of the real time event that is in progress right now.

I dont I dont see the connection between the two. If this is some kinda real time event it wasnt done very well at all.
The GM didnt respond or do anything RP ish at all. He just spawned. Targeted a few people, cast some spells and left. If he was part of an event it was a pretty poorly done apperance. -

There is a test world for people i remember a few rank 50 leves and mobs being leak out few months ago. I know that FFXI is now going to get test servers that players can play in. So ffxiv also going to get such test servers which is up right now with people doing rank 50 leves and trying out new class and battle system.

Hopefully they are actually going to implement the new disciplines like Arcanist and Musketeer even with thier new battle system, and not leave the GM only toys, Some one else mentioned seeing a GM at a camp doing AOE quick, and speaking in jp, it is all likelyhood related to this event, but its cool to see new disciplines
I can make out some of that french from my high school language classes, but there is probably someone fluent who can make a better translation, basically hes saying
listen to me, i speak the truth some disaster and stuff is happening, but you can help etc -

I recall from previous posts on other forums that the last bit of what he says is actually the French version of the "Poem" Yoshida posted in January. I recognized it right away.

Edit: Didn't see Velvette already said it was the same poem. Yeah there were lots of discussions about the discrepancies between the different translations. I remember distinctly the French mentioning 6th Sun & 7th Moon. I think it has more to do with Astral & Umbral Era now that more of the lore of Eorzea is available. I used to think it was July 6th. -
