Lobby Server = Broken

I get 1017 each time I click start to load character list. Can't even view character list.

When I do it says NA/EU is down.

Its now Monday, you can call locations and acquire the hardware and get it set up today. Why wait until primetime on Wednesday.

Every country isn't the United States.

IT normally work on holidays....cause shit happens 24/7... and problems don't give a fuck about your schedule. its fucking 8am....fucking crash damn server!

When you release a new game that is broken, you are suppose to work round the clock until it is fixed. Do you like losing money? Because that's what's going to happen if they continue to not fix the errors they are having.

Because expediting the process would cost money, and SE doesn't want to pay that kind of money, just to help players in EU/NA. If this was in Japan, then it would have been fixed last week.

Yeah that's 100% true. I guess they got a new Dell to replace an old one for us from 5pm-3am on Wednesday.

WTF I get up early to try to play and my damn start button does not light up. I am so close of canceling both accounts and requesting a refund.

It does feel as if the game had been launched and the people who should work on getting the players to play (and be actual PLAYERS) are enjoying their holiday just as we are(not). I'm pretty certain a group of ITs, sysadmins and devs are working on fixing this, but I'm pretty certain they're not at 100% staff, even 50% I doubt.

-Some guy at squareenix during dev: Hey, why don't we buy more servers, and stronger ones at that.

I too just got a 1017 before the character selection was loaded.

Let me clarify that for anyone who doesn't grasp it: I got a 'World is full' error before it even called up the world lists, nevermind me chosing a world.

Don't pretend this is working correctly. At the very least it is the wrong error message, though I doubt both Datacenters are down simultaneously when it's not maintenance.

Server is up, go login before worlds get full.

Yeah, woke up early (not working today), was planning to play all day and I'm getting the lobby is full error :(

Been trying to get on for a long while and this also came up for me. Now I am in the same boat, can't get past the lobby issue.

I am getting the same thing, but also I have been getting different error codes like 2006, 5002 about the lobby not being loaded. Or it cant load the servers list even tho on the loadstone it says the servers are up. I also been getting the error that trying to get to the login screen is laggy and when I do sign in I can't click on the start button then get a error code about the lobby again.

What is going on that it even lags trying to bring up the loadstone page on the main sign on screen for ps3?

Also a side note here, is anyone else also getting major lag on the forums? I mean it takes forever to load a page or go to the topic you want to go into

From time to time I get thru the launcher... To end up with "Unable to update the group NA/EU character list."

Be aware the the servers will be down for maintenance...

First I got the usual "world is full, call Miss Cleo for a free tarot card reading and figure out whether the goat of saturn declares a world available and mix eye of newt in a cauldron with bat's blood in an authentic haitian voodoo ritual to get a chance to roll a die and see if you queue or have to do it all over". After that I saw "couldn't update the na / eu world list. After that the lobby error 2002. After that the launcher kept crashing with -214699712. What's next? Windows won't boot? Please god tell me my COFFEE MACHINE ISN'T ABOUT TO BREAK!!!????

well hung up my hat and moved backwards in time to FFXI re-activated my accounts and going to play that and might never come back to this sorry excuse of a game been waiting for 3 years to play and have only been able to get to level 11 with one char. oh well I feel like Marty Mcfly going Back to the Future. yall have fun waiting for these guys to fix servers and get you logged in to the promised land.

Actually yes, a lot of people work on holidays. In the US and everywhere else..I would of had to work today if I didn't take the day off.

It doesn't matter how many worlds they add if there isn't an AFK kick implemented.

People are going to rush the new servers, and then guess what? AFK IN THEM.

Boom, exact same issue will happen. The only difference is that there will be a few less people complaining they can't log in because more AFKers are in game.

A better idea would be to have the servers restarted at a certain time every day to kick everyone who's AFK and prevent them from using basic macros to beat the AFK kicker. Or, y'know, have both.

The real game is stay in front of monitor waiting to log in for HOURS and every time different error !!! Thank you for good work square.

I feel like they don't even care about EU/NA players, EVERY DAY I try to log in I get some fcking new error. Now it's the lobby server messing up. God, why do I even play this game?

dispistous, try "not working a holiday" especially if you own you're own business and all of your customers are complaining and screaming that what you sold is broken, let me know how long your business last. Obviously you never had a real job.

Photos at morning and after 6 hours. I dont know (i dont understand) how i crash at game and all these afkers stay online all day ...

this is the real world buddy, this isnt highschool, let me know if you ever own a business and you have a horrible failure of a product and all of your customers are complaining and demanding refunds if there is not quick solution, let me know how your "it's a holiday" trick goes. So you cannot log into this game, but you are still going to play 11 and give SE your money? Yeah great strategy, with that mentality they'll just want everyone to roll back to 11 and stop investing in 14. lol

830 pst and the play button wont light up and i get an error 2002.... i look on 2 sites that has the world service status' and both of them say its up.... this is a huge joke...

Kind of idiots developers, (I APOLOGIZE WITH REAL IDIOTS, like u apologize with players for issues) three hours I try to connect. First thing lobby error, then no servers available, so full servers. All this for days. Idiots! Change job!! In a day (in EU server) u can play ... maybe ... Some minute without troubles so .... Please wake up, start to work and correct errors as soon as possible: we pay to play and to buy the game so next time don't waste our time with a horrible job in servers maintenance (about the job on the game i cannot talk because i must see the gameplay before i make a judgment). Thank you and sorry for the hard truth.
