The Japanese players probably took the time to read the producer letter about the login/account issues before nerd-raging on the forums. (No, I'm not a Japanese fanboy in the least, just saying.)
You mean they probably got the information first and had time to read it, before they decided to give us the same information? When I added my 2nd service account, it was before they fixed the website so it wasn't a confusing mess and way before there was any producer letter about it.
I feel their servers are much more reliable maybe because they dont have as many connections?
But yet, even after the letter, you still feel the need to request help with something that's being worked on?
What's being worked on? The duplicate service accounts? The thing preventing us from playing the game since we no longer have headstart time? Damn right I'm trying to contact support to have it fixed.
Yes, actually.

One week to late screwing all of the early adopters is the way I see it.
I would assume SE actually communicates with their JP customers. We've had little to no feedback to quell the angry masses letting us know what the !#$@ is going on, so the rage continues.
Concurrent Connections
The Reasoning behind Login Restrictions
Character Creation Restrictions
Adding Worlds and Alleviating Server Load Issues
Resolving AFK Character Issues
None of these addresses the issues in, http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ccount/page439 that has been on the forums since prelaunch... I also stated he should have had a image up where the title was for the biggest thread.
I can agree not many jp have issues but i play on a jp server and that its having a issue world is full
I've said it before, excuses are just that; excuses. Short of another tsunami, the only reason we as customers are experiencing these issues is due to someone elses incompetence. I'm sure if SE was in the business of making roller coasters and their prime ride collapsed on its opening run, a nice letter to everyone explaining how they screwed up building it will smooth everything over.
Back to the original topic though, it does seem odd there are so few postings in the JP thread. I have a difficult time believing they have that few problems. Maybe their players don't use this site? Idk.
As recommended, I also put in a screenshot of the main issue people are posting on. There's nothing regarding this issue mentioned anywhere, and the ONLY way to get a fix is to create a ticket, that will only be looked at if you also call/chat support to get it fixed. They already closed most of the old tickets because there were too many, including mine from the 26th.
The problem is that SE allocated the same number of servers for Japan as they did for North American and Europe combined. In Yoshida's most recent letter, he indicated that each server can support 5,000 concurrent connections, so they allocated the same number of resources for each region, despite the difference in size. As a result of this, their servers have been more reliable and experienced less downtime than their North American/European counterparts, which in turn has resulted in a smaller number of support threads on the Japanese forums.
