*Urgent message to Yoshi-P

April 19th or Bust!

If you do not say something that will excite the players who already left this game by April 19th, FFXIV will remain an abysmal failure.

You need to take advantage of this next week to release some information that will get the blogs talking about FFXIV again. Take any longer than the 19th, and nobody will make room on their front pages for news about FFXIV.

We want to know exactly what is going to be changed about the battle and armoury system!!

Come April 19th, I will have left this place, along with many others. It is up to you to decide if you want any of your missing players to return. Tell us what we want to know, or may the twelve have mercy on Eorzea's forgotten soul.

June 7-9th, here's a more accurate date if we're talking dates for "FFXIV to show something."

There's no way FFXIV's going to be up to snuff come E3. The game is already a joke. This would only worsen FFXIV's situation.

So if we get info before the 19th you're going to stay? :(

Nothing relevant to the MMORPG market will happen on april the 19th.

Yoshida will probably post some info this week simply because it'll be the pre-patch week, and he already promised on his producer letter that info will come before the 1.17 patch.

On the other hand, posting the same thread multiple times doesn't add much more solidity to your points.

Though, I see hidden in this thread a lovely chance for improvement of the quality of posting on this forum. Can't wait for the 19th now :D

Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat come out on that date. Somehow that's relevant to FFXIV. I anticipate Belgian Rofl's return in under a week.

Unfortunately its going to play out with SE most likely releasing some info or the patch next week...then belgian staying and of course taking credit for it somehow. I'd like to know who these "many others" that plan to be leaving on the 19th as well. Only person i've seen say that is of course belgian, oh and one other person....thats about it.

Don't get me wrong, i'll be picking up portal 2 as well (The first is so damn fantastic) but i'm not quitting this over it. Don't let me talk you out of leaving though belgian, hell by all means make it an earlier date.

ITT: Belgian leaves us all the hell alone on the 19th to play a single player game which has 0 effect on an MMO... and will promptly return 3 days later

Random date is random. The only argument you seem to have for it is the lack of media coverage it might bring. However FFXIV don't have any media coverage and won't have any except from a few ff specialized and mmorpg specialized website until the ps3 version release.

Good, I hope he doesn't release anything. You have nothing constructive to say anyway. If anything, your posts have just turned more people away from the game.

Everyone just do what i did report his post as spam because it offers nothing to the community or the game its just a threat to the producer. This wouldn't be the first post of his I've gotten locked or removed, IE his stupid Jail post.

The "SYSTEM" (SquareEnix) is "oppressing us" (not doing exactly what we want) by using "clandestine and despotic tools" (FFXIV). We are "slaves" (beta testers) to this "SYSTEM" and April 19th is our only way out (Mortal Kombat). The "evil mastermind" (Yoshida?) is "violating our rights" (not working fast enough or giving us info) and trying to "manipulate and distract" us (the old 'tsunami' ploy).

I never realized until now what a slave I was to the system. We are in what could only be rightfully described as a combination of Nazi death camps, KGB interrogation chambers, and apostates under Sharia Law. The worst part is that we can't get out until APR19th.
