Disconected at the end of the fight about 4 hours ago, now my character is apparently gone and wont connect...
I am unable to sign in to my character as well.... I was in the same party as Pietro...
We were exiting the instance and then the screen went into the blank loading screen (with the loading animation at the bottom right still going) but it just never did anything. It says my character is in "The Howling Eye" but nothing happens when I sign on... just goes on forever and then times out.
I was in a Garuda PT last night, at around 9pm est. 2 minutes into the fight, we all got disconnected, and none of us could log back in. It has been like 9 hours since. I can select my character (still in howling eye), but never get past loading screen before I get error 30002.
I can still log in other chars, so it is not my network. Something is wrong with my character on the server side.
same here, are we being ignored by Square Enix or something ?

I suggest you all fill out the survey they always post with your name character and what-not.
I think this probably was a glitch that happened after the crash a couple days ago and went unnoticed.
I just did online chat with a customer service rep.
He said I wasn't the first to report this.. lol
Said he was gathering info for it and its going to be escalated to japan to be addressed. (This is NA support)
So it will probably get fixed soon...
Pietro Nobelhart, Xeonerable Fenrir, Edeon Vails, and Akira Uchiha are all members of my Linkshell who were in the Garuda instance with us and have apparently not been able to log in since last night. I just found out another member, Himika Valentine, cannot log in under same circumstances.

My LS, My friends, Worked hard for over a damn MONTH to get to where we could get sub 8min no-death kills 9/10 times, and now were scared shit less to even ENTER the instance, cause we might completely lose our characters?????
This is not something that can be ignored until november 11th. This needs to be addressed NOW.
Jesus, this is ridiculous, it happens in the wards, it happens in this instance, and SE remains silent. It's about to get some nasty press, if it doesn't atleast ACKNOWLEDGE this error.
yes i am locked out also along with foxichi hexoff, himika, crow, aion , perin , rosa..................... been 20hrs or so now with no new information from support no a fix.... gota love SE customer support on this one........
just move our chars to a city so we can log on and block howling eye until it is fixed so more people arent locked out??ty!!!!!

I forced a GM to talk to me in-game on a diff character. I asked him to take me out of "Howling Eye" and put me anywhere else to see if that helped.
He said it's best not to, since we might be dealing with corrupt data and make matters worse.
well I still can't get in along with the whole PT I went in with.

Just adding my voice to this. I'm still stuck, coming up on 24 hours after the instance crash (or whatever happened). I did get into chat with a customer service rep this morning who promptly escalated my ticket to the devs in japan after collecting some info.
I asked about everyone else in our party, but he said that since they're all separate accounts, each person needs their own ticket. It's bullshit that CS is giving some people the runaround, but I'd keep trying. I have a feeling this isn't going to just fix itself, so the sooner you get a ticket bumped up to the devs, the better.
Would be nice to at least get some acknowledgement from SE in this thread, but in the mean time, good luck to everyone stuck in limbo.
I'm still waiting to hear from the support center.
i tried to rename the "user" folder to "user.backup", didn't help at all...
and like ShepardG said, a response from a Rep would be nice, i'm really starting to feel ignored here, as if they're saying "we dont care if we lose 20 or so players".
the sad thing, most of us are loyal players since Beta...

This is the only thing I have managed to get out of anyone. No response from support center. And last night had a "conversation" with a GM who basically copy-paste responded almost the same thing to anything I said.

Wtf? Do they mean the instance, or are they really so out of touch as to believe there is a Garuda server. ...?
Guys take this situation to the media. Let kotaku, pc gamer, MMO gamer, hell, let all the web/magazine outlets know. SE's in a really precarious time right now, and any bad press could be hazardous, but losing your entire character is un-aceptable. Apparently the only way their gonna start paying attention is if everyone who isn't giving them their money gets informed of their shoddy customer service. Same thing happened with pandemonium warden in FFXI. Once it got reported that a single boss was fought for over 24hrs they started to pay attention quick as shit. It's a damn shame but I wont let a game I care about be handled this way.
Hell especially not after getting garudas green ass on farm status!

Agent Alfred told me to call them, so I did. I got a very nice gentlemen on the line, he told me he has heard about this before and is gathering all the information. So I don't know what else to say about the rest. Basically gotta wait until it gets more hits for the Japanese and we might get saved from the Instance limbo.
