Aetherflow Gauge is full from the start

When you enter a dungeon, Sage Addersgall DPS/Healing Gauge is already full.
Now they've done the same for WHM, adding Afflatus Misery and a fully filled Healing Gauge from the start.
I wanted to consider doing the same for SCH, so that the Aetherflow Gauge is full from the start of the fight, so that I can use 6 stacks for Chain Stratagem and 3 for healing.
What do you think about this? ^^

SCH gets 3 from pressing aetherflow immediately, it really doesn’t need 9 in the opener since half will fall outside chain anyway if you do ED them all

You can use 3 as combat begins, then another 3 using Dissipation. You will probably get by if you burn them using your other abilities, but might depend on the fight.

In a dungeon you probably have used it already and have 3 stored, then can use Aetherflow right after, then Dissipation.

I think that's a bit much I didn't ask for the full lilies they just sort of gave em to me.
Scholars and Summoners I think there pets should spawn with them automatically - I feel bad when they die and the first thing they need to do is summon their pet. That feels super unfair, like no other jobs in the game get gimped that hard.

Here we witness in real time people begging, pleading, insisting that they make classes even more similar to one another.

Since Gauges start full instead of being built up those days I'm seriously wondering what's different from MP systems that also start full... Have we gone full circle but the system got dumbed down hardcore? For what?

I was wondering when will people start asking for full AF when they gave WHM their fully charged Lilies… ah well.. I think it’s revolting to even think about starting with full AF. But at the same time I won’t be surprised if SE think it’s a great idea to give more power to the already strongest healer of the four (not by DPS) we have today. Not to mention to make all 4 even more homogenous.

Big no from me personally. As of now SCH can comfily fit 6 EDs in under their Chain window so long they pre-mitigate sufficiently (spreadlo+expedience) or/and rely on their fae abilities effectively (start with Dissipation first instead of Aetherflow so fairy will come back up sooner, just in time to shove WD/FB). Giving them 3 extra in the beginning just means you can ignore the soft prerequisite to achieve 6 EDs with no effort at all.

I'm not opposed to it, but I agree that the fact that we just hit a button to get a full stack verses the minute plus WHM/SGE have to wait to get theirs makes it a bit unnecessary.

Scholars don't need it.

Instead of having full AF, I just want to use it out of combat, again. Revert back to being able to use it out of combat, then we don't need this change.

On the pet thing, that's part of the class. Similar to others losing their resources (eg: B/W mana for RDM). If we must summon a pet after death, at least make summoning not remove your res invuln.

I really don’t want to wait a minute between pulls so that aetherflow can come off CD and I say that as a SCH main

I wanted to hear from players who play challenging content. Would they be interested in this change? I was considering it in terms of Savages and Ultimates, so that there would be three stacks available for free healing. Not in terms of regular dungeons or normal raids, because they can be completed without healing.

I could have sworn I said nothing about the CD. You wipe, the CD should reset like other CDs. This is so you don't *habe* to wait to be in combat to get that stack at the start of the duty. Also in other areas... As I am sure you, an SCH main can say from experience, switching and *having* to go into combat to have your resources is quite... Counterproductive IMO.

You didn't, but it's the natural conclusion of what you were saying, if Aetherflow could be used out of combat, it will lead into: Wipe>Respawn>use Aetherflow>entire party sits there for 1 minute doing absolutely nothing so Aetherflow can come off CD>pull starts, this would become the optimal way to play SCH, and it would create an expectation to be done every time, that's what Supersnow was getting to.

Having it be there before the encounter opens so you can do your 6 ED opener and not be punished by still having healing in the first minute is basically the anthesis to SCH’s design

ED is a dump, not an expectation. You should never be designing SCH in a way that a certain number of ED’s become a pseudo expected baseline because there is no way you will d we need that much healing in the opener

If you feel short of aetherflow in the first minute don’t use the 6 ED opener
