Why is Aether locked if less players than EW? LET ME IN
Title. Why did they lock aether and crystal, when there's less people playing now than in Endwalker? At least going to primal in M1-4S was 'okay' in terms of group volume, but now I'm looking at like less than 70 groups on primal at prime time, when before there were well over 140.
Cross DC PF is not happening for the next 5 years, so the next best thing would be to let us at least pool up all the raiders in one server, so you don't have to wait an eternity. It worked great in Endwalker, barely had to wait at all, but now I'm rotting away waiting for a healer and phys range for like an hour in PF.
What is Square Enix doing?
This isn't directed at you, but more of a vent to this perspective:

I am going to be honest here, I really dislike that the community "labeled" the datacenters, because every datacenter was doing all 3 of those things before DC travel came in. Both Aether and Primal have their own RP scene. All 3 DCs could do PvP, raiding varied, but all 3 DCs could do it. (Crystal's ultimate scene was sprouting just a tiny bit before DC travel uprooted it.) Dynamis will be no different if it has a chance to get on its feet. What makes a working DC is everything the game can offer, and not just one piece of it.
Some focus on some things a little more, but it was all there for the most part. I just wish we could not label them based off their popular activity. It really doesn't help the new players who come in without a shred of knowledge of the communities and just get lumped into a group based off where they made their character, or worse; can't play a lot of the game due to it.
We really should stop with the labeling. Datacenters are communities; not playgrounds for one particular activity.
