As posted on Umadori, the recent Chinese Live Letter has revealed a new emote for that region. I will first say that it is a very well-made emote and that I am sure a lot of care went into it's creation.
However, I am bothered by the fact that it is all but certain to eventually come to the game not through in-game rewards but by the online store, while in-game emotes both earnable and linked to the MSQ...seem to be the same eating animations recycled countless times.

Magicians don't make much sense in this game's world anyway because magic is actually a thing. If it weren't, the one person claiming to be capable of it would be of more intrigue.

You don't even see chinese Datacenter on official website nor in game. They have their own launcher. So I don't consider China a region in same way as NA/EU/JP.
I think SE may even need approval frorm Shengqu for it to be added to the game. -

All of the things you see are usually straight into their cash shops, and whatever we get brought over also goes into our cash shop to keep it fair. This has been discussed idk how many times from nearly every CN/KR cash shop item that has come over, so this is still nothing new. It'll be a $7 emote or whatever, like it normally is, and yes, we keep in line with their prices, for the most part, based on whatever inflation and exchange rate is at the time. It looks like the magician emote is already there for 4800 coupons - assuming 4800 coupons is like crysta (and I'm fairly certain it is) and it works like crysta with a 1:1 ratio (1 crysta = $1) it's ~48.00 CN¥ which comes out to about ~$7 USD. -

The Irony of it all is that there probably is a way to use Region-Locked mogstation items/glamours/emotes/mounts through illegal ported mods and have them be available in regions you normally wouldn't have them. Like the Tank mount for China or this Magician- Emote for anywhere but China. That and every Kpop-dance-emote you can think of... mhm. Which is against TOS! obviously.
