Acquiring wins is too frustrating and insisting upon 60 is unfair. Please change it from wins to matches played. This will make it easier for us who are only here for GARO items.

It should go without saying, but the requirement is wins instead of matches so folks who just want the cosmetics don't swarm in and throw all their matches to the detriment of the folks who are there to PvP.
Well OP, i'm sure that people stuck at any level of dungeon would like to get their loot, however you need to clear to get your chest or title or quest achievement.
The PVP equivalent is typically wins, in some cases a point system can be used to give partial credit for in the case of a loss but that's typically much slower. The whole point is to encourage and motivate people to participate, improve and try to win the match.
I hate PvP with a burning passion, yet I pulled through with my 60 wins. Just take your time. If it's anything like the last time it was here, it won't end any time soon.
peaople are already playing frontline just to do their daily roulette, caring only about exp, you want that to cc too?
not like garo ponies help much, but cc season and garo have made pvp pretty lively lately despite the balance issues, and i dare to say that is a good thing. gasp
got ginga last night, it was not fun since i was playing kinda late and people had begun to turn into tunnel moding zombies, but the overall the experience was enjoyable.

I'm also trying to get the Garo mounts, but I would rather not have to deal with (more) afkers. It's much more fun when everyone is doing their best, even if we lose.
You have to be patient. 60 wins is not a hard thing to do, just take at least 30 mins break if you are in a losing streak.
10 wins in frontline though, thats the hard one for me.
No thanks. This carebear community needs to learn what winning is. Just participating is boring AF and is easily one of the shittiest experiences in this game.
this kind of request was made back when GARO first came out too. it didn't happen then, it's not going to happen now.
if you want it, grind for it. no free rides
If you get 20 kills per game they should count that as a win. That should be fair.
The balancing is a bit of a mess. But you can que as a group of 4. And certain modes are easier to win if you have 4 people rounding up the lemmings.
No, they shouldn't. Because there are multiple ways that selfish people would screw over the rest of the party or alliance by just kill-trading and ignoring any objectives.
What's fair is working with the rest of your party and trying to win, as you pointed out there are some ways in some modes that you can make it easier to work with your team.
I just wish the title "maiki (Class Here)" was not needed or I knew an easier way to change between them because I have won matches only to later relized I didnt change my title back to maiki so I missed credit for the win towards the mount. :-/
You claim that 60 wins is "unfair" without giving any reason for it other than that it's frustrating for you, which is just saying you don't like it. Just because YOU don't want to do it doesn't make it unfair.
Personally I'm fine with the 60 win requirement;
What I'm not fine with is that 10 of those have to be frontline for the one mount.
Done 8 frontlines today and not a single win, my teams keep getting crushed. I'd much rather be playing CC, but here I am, getting annoyed and salty in a mode I find unfun.
Already have all three mounts....and almost have one of the three 100-win GC mounts.
You can set titles with macros. When queueing into PVP I use my PVP macro (switch to favorite job für PVP, equip pvp glam, set pvp mount, switch to Garo title of choice)
This way I can also see that I likely don't have the title equipped because the glamour is wrong, at which point I simply hit the PVP macro, glamour is still wrong, but title is right.
Let us take the banning with a grain of salt. They have said don't do it. People are still seeing some of the same bad actors even now after a couple weeks.
Depending on the length of the event, doubling wouldn't be so crazy. It took more effort to get skysteel tools then it did to get all the garo achievements.
Jamie, why don’t you instead get better at the game rather than advocating for the game to be dumbed down to your level (yet again)?
It doesn't matter, every frontline match i was in is a stomp by 1 team....
It's literally pointless to queue frontline and except to WIN.
Mounts is just cosmetic stuff lets gatekeep that.....
Also you must be joking, you call stacking whm/summoners in frontline is a pvp by folks "who are there to PvP", you call THIS pvp??????
I really would love for it too not be win related, I have almost done enough matches to get the season armor but in all of that, only seen 16 wins total.
Now im being stubborn, im playing as the job i want to play (Dancer) instead of going with the FotM easy jobs, Am i good at dancer? debatable, i honestly dont know, I just know that im doing my job, buffing others, tricking the enemy into blowing their big moves on me instead of my more useful allies, charming everyone with my worthless LB and trying to AOE them down.
In doing this Im seeing one thing over and over and over, people who just don't know what their doing, or don't care, only so much you can buff your Dance partner and watch as they stand around confused or worse, charm everyone only to find your team is on the other side of the map after a single person.
Ultimately, good or bad, One person cant carry a team to victory, But 4 players can keep a person locked to Rank zero of their tier or block progression of GARO wins.
Maybe I should just switch to a job with one hit kills or countless stuns and cakewalk my way to the top like everyone else, But i honestly just cant find it in me to step away from the job i want too play, even for nobrainer wins..... and well.... Even all the stuns in the world wont help a team not interested in winning, or who have given up because we dont have a tank and healer but the other team do.
Nobody is here to pvp in this garbage truck of a system. It's absolutely terrible in every single way shape and form. Who the hell cares if they go in and rush the games played. I'm sure all 3 people that still pvp and actually take it seriously won't be too bothered.
Yes, and I want my Ultimate weapons for trying 20 times with a PUG instead of actually winning the fight.
It will probably last for 1 or 2 years. Just try to win one match per week and you will get it.
Isn't the important part getting one of the Garo titles anyway? As long as you have the title you can work on the achievements even if the event isn't going on, can't you?
You can think of it as 200 matches, which even at a 30% win rate (quite possible depending on job and RNG) would net you 60 wins.
Since the Garo event will probably go on for a while, 200 matches should be doable.
Same thing for Frontline - think of it as 40 matches, which would net 10 wins even at a 25% win rate. Frontline roulette is worth doing anyway for XP or tomes.
I've come to realize that grindy bits of the game don't always need to be ground out all at once. It can be more relaxing to spread them out over time.
Any text command from the Lodestone site can be put into a macro.
You can change gearset/glam plate, title, search info, HUDlayout, camera tilt, hotbars, the way names of other players are displayed, and other stuff.
