Remove silence

There's nothing fun or engaging about this mechanic. Playing against a double silence polymorph team is next to impossible. You just get totally shut down from range and if you don't have purify you're just dead every single time if the other team is paying even remote attention.

If people coordinate enough to shut someone down like that then that is their reward. You can bait people to waste it but starting the cast and cancelling it yourself so they waste it. That is your reward.

This is a really odd request. Unlike virtually every other form of CC, Silence allows you to continue moving at full speed.
It's significantly less debilitating for most classes than a Stun, Freeze, or Bind.
If you're having a huge problem with Silence, the issue is more likely your positioning than anything else.

silance should olny woke on caster after mages need to "cast" speel dps don't need to talk to uses there weapons skills

I would still play it. Just make the silence only work on purify, recuperate and guard. Blocking all inputs is ridiculous. There's too much CC as is already.

Without silence some classes would suffer servere though, so maybe you did not think it through?

gnb is already suffering though dmg bonus is nice but only one cc and its attached to an lb that works when all opponents are on crystal and when stunned or silenced the class gets instantly deleted.

Silence can be cast at range. Quite a far range at that. It's far more reliable to begin the shutdown train with this netcode thanks to it.

Eeeehhhh, I don't think so. Hell, most of the time I just allow Silence to run its course without even purifying it because there's way more scary things out there like area Stuns every 15s... Stun is a Silence, but better. And much more dangerous.

If anything Polymorph should be destroyed in order to just... Become Silence. Y'know, exactly what Polymorph is, without the expection to Purify. You wouldn't even need to write an exception to Guard on Polymorph if you did it.

Polymorph shouldn't even be in the game in the state it is. It's WAY too powerful for what it does lmao. Might as well just be a "kill target opponent" button. I'd be way less salty about stuns in general if they just had diminishing returns. The fact that most stuns come off CD in half the time it takes for purify to come back is bonkers.

I agree stun isn’t that bad and idk who said bind is strong like … how? Poly needs something done with it it’s the strongest CC and can’t be countered silence is strong be I don’t think it breaks the game just when you have an AOE version Im like bruh that’s a fight turner that should be an LB though CC in general has been the deciding factor in fights

Playing more Crystal. Stuns and 1hko combos are strong.
Silence can be played around. Run away for 2secs.
Stuns, you can't. You are stun until it runs out or you die. I rather see more roots then stuns. Roots you can fight back.

Silence stops you from attacking but you can run away
Roots you can fight but can't run.

Stuns and Poly are not fun.

lmao next you're going to tell me the endless stun no DR vanilla rogue was perfectly balanced. A full fledged stun meta with ranged disables isn't at all a healthy pvp experience.

Dude, every single competitive game in existence is balanced around the top end of player skill. This one isn't an exception.

Stop asking for nerfs when you could instead just redirect the effort you're wasting here at learning from your mistakes. There is no "stun meta." CC is completely fine. You have Guard and Purify for a reason. If those aren't enough, then it's because you're playing badly and you need to fix that.

1.) If only that were true. So many fighting games would be in a much better place and wouldn't have so many garbage comeback meter/super mechanics for the sake of being ultra flashy for the casual players while being downright infuriating for top tier players. Or when they do listen, they only half listen and make things worse like the mangler in halo infinite. Top players simply just said to put it on a longer spawn timer. Instead they just nerf it by removing the shoot+melee combo making the game mediocre.

2.) I lol'd. Purify is garbage and guard is just a delay tactic that doesn't work half the time. To say there's no stun meta when the best way to control a fight and focus people down is through stun locking is comical at best. You clearly have no idea how to play.

Comical is putting it lightly. To say that there's no crowd control meta is completely delusional. Stuns and disables are by far and away the strongest aspects of deciding which team wins.

And your argument of "just use purify lol" gets immediately shattered by them having almost half the cooldown purify does. The fact that there's no diminishing returns for crowd control makes a ranged shut down on such a short cooldown way too strong. The only reason I don't hate on polymorph more is because it's not tied to multiple jobs.

Weird. I deal with silence, stun, and polymorph in all of my games and yet I never have issues handling it.

You are not very good at the game. I recommend you spend less time whining on internet forums and more time practicing. Hell, you're on Crystal - swing by Wolves Den sometime and we can practice in duels if you'd like. If you're dying to CC chains, it's because you were out of position.

I appreciate how you come back with insults and then "lets just duel lol" which is nowhere remotely close to the same situation as a 5v5 with entire team kits loaded with control because of your lack of any proper rebuttle in a literal crowd control meta. Btw nah, I've steadily gaining credit every day in crystal, just because I understand what's unhealthy for a game doesn't make me a bad player.

I don't like something therefore it must be removed. That is pretty much the reason why PvE is so boring.
